I actually can.  I felt the love from the first second I ever read this forum.  That is why I am a Mod here......very selfish reasons?

I feel for you Cat, and I'm glad you are past that point you speak of- it's not a good place to be. I recently broke up with my girl and felt that way for a week or so before getting back together. I think we only did so because of how difficult that stage is. Now it's like waiting in limbo until one of us gets the courage to go through it again, and the long drawn out stress of waiting for this moment isn't any good either...

I hope we work things out, but if not, I will be returning to this thread and reading through as I think it will help me as well. You guys all seem pretty tight and I can tell you really care for the other members on this board. Thanks for sharing Cat, and I hope you do great on your finals and find something great through some of your newly opened doors!

 
Gads, I must have been blind not to see this till now. I feel for you hon, been there more than once and it's the worst kind of inner pain. It will pass and you come out stronger on the other side. Big cyber hugs from me.

You mentioned moving - I'd normally suggest out west in SoCal but we are running out of water here and it's expensive for housing besides.

I do hope you feel better soon and know how much you are loved by all your friends here at DBG.

I'm sorry Cat. Love comes and goes, think of it as just an obstacle that you WILL get through that can only make you stronger. If the person that you were with didn't want you for one reason or another well then it is his loss! You seem like a strong independent woman and I believe you will be just fine. We are here for you, and I'm sure you have many friends in real life that are there for you. If you ever want to talk feel free to shoot a pm my way.

Edit: Btw I'm down in Florida and it's absolutely beautiful. I can recommend some places if you're interested /default_smile.png

have I said how amazing you all are?  Hehe.  I knew this thread would help me.  Thank you.  Thank you for sharing.

Rp2011 i am not good with heat, but excited to possibly moving to FLA.  It would be an amazing situation ...not city living like I am now.  And two blocks from the beach!  My two girls will be so so happy!  I would be living with my exhub (the first one...lol) and his mom.  I know that sounds strange, but they are family.  mom is nearing eighty and declining.  I love seniors and i love her.  She is typical brooklyn retired to fla.  Kind of like Sophia in the "golden girls" .....lol! After taking care of my Mom for so long, i have the whole "caregiving" thing down pat.  My ex hubs is okay, i do worry about his drinking.  He claims to have cut WAY back, but we will see.  

Anyway, thanks for everything you guys. Love you longtime!

So, he was pushing up on me.  Really Otto? Even if i did just want to have sex with him without getting "back together", i would not do it yet!  We will still be living together for a couple of months at least.  Sigh..........

 
I know what your saying even though me and my x wife are divorced every time we see each other we have sex I guess neither one of us can control ourselves around each other. Lol

 
omg cat, really?  Your moving to Florida?  That is where I am.  Cool beans, maybe we can do  a meet up one day once your down here.  Do you know when your moving?  I living in brooklyn then staten island,...lol now here.  With some other places in between.  I used to love traveling different places before kids and living there.  xx

I also dont think its strange you moving with your x,  I had a really strong relationship of friendship for a good twenty yrs with my first hubby...sometimes we are better off as friends..

I actually think my daughter's dad is hilarious now. Where as before, Im pretty sure I had vivid daydreams of cutting his throat and watching him asphyxiate on his own blood. But I digress...

 
I would be moving to vero beach, about an hour north of BOCA......lol!  I heard it i a requirement to have beige hair if you live in boca!  Lol!

today, i woke up silly!  For the first time in many weeks.  I just woke up silly. Marched my ass down to the couch and farted in Otto's face, he was sleeping, then laughed uncontrollably fo fifteen minutes straight.  I told Otto (who was majorly pissed) that that is what he gets for breaking up with me.  It wasnt even stinky...i should have planned it better byeating eggs with hot sauce ot something.  I only ate some homemade pasta with a little butter and fresh grated parm.  ANYWAY he finally started laughing with me. He told me that it was so great to hear me laugh like that. Then we did this hugging laughing crying thing......all the kids were up by this point and Jenna thought we were back together.  She was so glad until we explained.  That part sucked.  

I know you guys prolly think i am gross and immature and you are prolly correct.  It had to be done tho. I took my power back. 

Thank you so much for seeing me through this guys.  I appreciate it more than you ever will know.  And, i got to know some of you better.  Double positive.
