Is safe-mail gone for good?

I was just curious if anyone knew the status with safe-mail.net, I have not been able to access my safe-mail account for about a month now I think?

 
They keep putting the deadline back or are very vague about a time frame. My gut feeling is its time to move on.

 
Me too, I will be surprised if I still have an account when/if it comes back online. 

 
I have heard proton mail but am no expert.

riseup.net wants your whole reason for using them so have a reason ready. They seem politically motivated.

Thanks, I had heard of proton mail but forgot about them. I'll have to do some googling and see what's out there too.

 
I'm quite happy to stay "hidden" in plain sight to be honest.

Proton Mail are the best free ones out there, though they've had issues lately probably because they're the best. There's many good things being said about PM, they're just getting through a rough patch.

Safemail were never any good, I just didn't know it until getting shut out /default_rolleyes.gif. I agree with PTFC about staying hidden in plain sight, which you also mentioned on another thread.. but I get torn between /default_ph34r.png and /default_cool.png... so personally, I just don't trust G anything, so no gmail for me.
