Is There Any Good Ones Other Than Soma

you can get wallace if you specify when ordering from superdrugsaver
I tried to find out how you did that, but all I could find was the special comments which in the past has been printed on the label as shipping instructions. Not from IOP's mind you, just computer related equipment. I did send them an email asking about that because the phone support was closed at the time, but the free shipping ends on the 28th and a response would take so long the free shipping code might not be valid when I got the instructions. Thanks for finding that out for me, otherwise I never would have known there was an option.

No worries.  Yeah I figured it was time to switch up the avatar for a bit.  I'm stoked for season 5 this summer.

Did a little more research and it seems the Soma from TT is a generic brand from India that comes in red blisters.  The reviews of it are not so stellar.

The Meprobamate is $18 for a sample pack of 20 400mg tabs.  Made by Aspen Pharmacare so should be of good quality.  They also have samples of the Baclofen (Lioresal) you've been looking to try.  The other two choices in the muscle relaxant section are Robaxin (which you mentioned you aren't a fan of) and something I've never heard of called Orphenadrine (Norflex).

I Have no idea what most of these are.. but hope this helps. /default_wacko.png
You're a saint my friend! I haven't shopped around much for those others once I found the soma for sale. Pyrazolam seems to have a pretty good grasp of chemistry and from his post I have a feeling the two others will help make the soma work better, if they don't work well their self that is. I've been taking the soma so long it really doesn't work as well as it did before, and the only other thing I've found that helps it become more effective is zolpidem. The bad part about that combination is the memory loss the zolps cause. Sometimes I'll wake up to find a lot of my stuff got lost the night before.  /default_ohmy.png

That and finding I've been visited by aliens who take control of me and post stuff that really should have been kept to myself. Now when I have the two at the same time I unplug my keyboard so the aliens don't expose my lunacy to the world. /default_smile.png I do a good enough job of that without help from the Grays.

Hey HighTide, top 10 meds carries meprobramate as well as soma. The good thing is now they carry sample packs so you don't have to spend a lot of money to figure out if they work for you.

Apparently meprobromate metabolizes into Soma, similarly to how codeine metabolizes into morph.
I got permission from "Dick" to see his inventory. The way they made it clear you may or may not get your package was a little scary, so I got just 4 samples and paid for the insurance. In your experience what is the shipping time with this site?

I've never ordered from there but I've read reports of anywhere from a week to a few weeks.

It looks like a good place to get some samples of stuff if you've never tried something before. I went ahead and got some baclo, though it seemed kinda high at 35 for 10 ct. The mepro, soms and especially zannies seemed reasonably priced so I got a sample of each. If their carisops are good quality I'll let you know so you can pick some up along with some zans. I think I recall reading on their thread that the Mylan brand is pretty good, if so at 18 for 30 ct its a great price. Even better is the 100 ct for 59, but thats only if they are good quality.

At any rate I appreciate the referral. I also hope the weather is better there than it is here.

I got a delivery of soma today and had the same problem concerning benzos blocking them again. Last night I took a few zannies and when my package arrived today I ate what would normally get me feeling great, and barely felt them. /default_sad.png Oh well, at least I've got enough to let the benzos clear out so I should be feeling good tomorrow or Sunday. Plus the samples from TTM should be here soon so I'll have those new things to try. I really wish I would have passed on the baclofen and got some samples of the zolps or more mepros. It shouldn't be long before I know for sure.

For what it's worth guys Ed and More www.edandmore.com have 350 & 500 mg Soma I have been getting from them for years.

Never had a problem. Their product is made in their own factory. I'm in states and use MO for payment. Its the only stuff I have found the helps my back other than gabapenten but it makes me a forgetful drooling idiot so I stay with Soma. .

After searching & searching I can't find a vendor who carries cycl@benz@pr/ne aka fl@x@ril. My apologies if it's been posted elsewhere.......I've hunted but couldn't find.

S@ma, Gaba & others make me into a gurgling piece of goo. Go figure as I have a hi tolerance for most everything else~

The only thing I've found that works for me w/o making me into a gumby, bumbling idiot is fl@x.

Anyone know of a vendor who carries this, would be very grateful if you would plz. pass it on.

Pretty sure Healthpharmacyonline and RXfield.com have it.

I don't know if the prices are any good, never had to order it online.

Both are domestic Cod

I've tried quite a lot over the years and none has ever helped, or made me feel good, as much as Soma. I don't know why the feds finally decided to mess with them. In my experience the only real danger is to people who have a tendency to go into convulsions. Epileptics and such should stay way, but otherwise they work well and are not that dangerous.

Take enough and you will not be able to walk or talk, that's for sure. I can say the same about a number of things, including alcohol and benzos.

But I've tried Flexeril and slept like I'd taken a tricyclic such as Elavil. My wife liked them for some reason, and apparently others do to because they are for sale at some places.

Docs have given me Robaxin and it did just what the label said, take every 4 hours for back pain. It really made my back hurt, and others I'd share them with agreed.

Skelaxin didn't seem to do much and Parafon Forte was useless too.

The one I've never tried that some seem to find effective is baclofen. I had a friend who was given some but he wound up snorting too many original OC 40s and I lost him before he had a chance to share.
Ever considered a combination between an antiinflamatory drug and a muscle relaxer ?

Lets say a coxib, you can go for the new vioxx by MSD- etoricoxib and lets say tolperisonum or the good old fashioned Chlorzoxazonum.

The Baclofen by Novartis is an option. I have seen it in pharmacies, not too pricey, I will give it a try as the weather is cold now and back and knee pain settled in.

I just looked up the site edandmore.com thaCinci5 posted above. They've got brand name S, but it's triple the price of DDS. Has anyone tried Pro$oma brand?

I read back on the first page a member giving props to xanafl£x. I just started it and find it very sedating, but no where near as good as S for releasing muscles that are contracted. What benz0s do people like to use for muscle relaxants?

I ask because I don't find that any of them work except V, and even then, I have built up a tolerance to my brand. I have some bananakins that are kind of fun, but do nothing to relax muscles. Does Xan@x work well? I ask again because I have never tried anything but the crappiest brands of X that do nothing to begin with, let alone relax muscles.

That's strange, I found val to be by far the most effective as a muscle relaxer. Just goes to show yet again how each medicines affect each person differently.

Nitr@zepam and Et!z0lam (BZ analogue) seem to to have good muscle relaxing properties as well IME.

Yeah, I agree, as a benz. I think my problem though is that I've got a tolerance to my script brand, and I haven't branched enough out to try any others for this specific use. But yes, V works better than the big 3 or 4.

Thanks for the other two though. I check em out.

I did order some Lib btw. I'll let you know how that turns out. Not sure it's good for this use, but more for relaxing in general.

@BTOX - I have had that type before ( prosewmuh). Id give them 6/10. I waiting on some from sds right now due any day. Sending u a pm now.

Hey BTO, Heisen, and others who like the muscle relaxers.

Not counting Vs, Do any of you ever have stomach issues from the MRs ?

Specifically with things like Flex or ill and syc low Ben za-preen

If so, what do you do that helps settle your stomach?

I may try these again in light of all the recent changes.

They have helped my back in the past and they are cheaper, but they would make me sick at least twice a week and I would wake up in the middle of the night to throw up.

I would take one bean in the evening with food in my stomach and often had additional food after taking them.

I don't like MRs (well, unless you count v@l as a MR). But I do have non-related stomach issues. Perhaps you've confused me with someone else.

SJ, I do have similar problems.  Somewhere on DBG, someone said to try gingerale which I tried but I did not like the taste.  But there is another alternative that is Pepsi product called Sierramist, at first I really thought is was a knockoff 7-up, but after trying it I could not believe how much it helped.  I recommended it to my pregnant co-worker who was absolutely miserable and it was the only thing that helped, but she had to drink it lukewarm. There's nothing listed on the label that would account for it, but if you can find it, it would worth a try.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
