I drove 2 hours. He pretty much laughed at me..

Said there was people worse then me nothing he can do.

Not even give me Zolof or z@naflex!!

I even showed him a photo of how I welp up over my

The patient advocate I spoke with yesterday said women and young people who are in chronic pain are never taken seriously and this pisses me off. I'm in so much pain I can't even sit in a movie theater for 2 hours and I love movies, especially indie movies. I hate to wish evil upon people but I hope every single doctor you, I and other pain suffers have gone to get stricken with pain while they are still in their prime just so they can see how this shyt feels. Furthermore I hope they are treated like pill seekers and get the run around!
You have my sympathy. I am right there in your shoes.

I feel ya brother. I was in your position a few years ago. 29 years in in tons of pain from herniated disc. 2 of them. I went to pain was told the same. Vist the ER every couple days to get pain meds after my 10th visit the the ER the doc called the pain clinic and told them I was not faking and needed to be treated.

This is just so so so sad.................just what you had to go through just to get the right help. My God. I'm just speechless right now. Just so stupid and I'm afraid it's getting worse.

With how pain meds are being abused it's very hard to get in a pain clinic. I am 34 years old. A person hit me when I was 29. Go to the ER let the doc know what's going on and see if they can refer you. As long you have the medical records to prove it you should be good to go.

Can't really saw you can sue because the doctor did not accept tou as a patient. I would luce to help though. What city do you live I can do some research on some docs to try and get some help.

You may want to in the mean time try and hit some trams at least you can get out of pain with them. You can what 150 trams for under 100.00 from some of the IOP5.

After the 10 visits to the ER at the cost oh over 10 thousand dollars I was able to get in to one. 5 his is what the OP may need to do. Go to the ER let the doc know what's going on and see if they can refer you. As long you have the medical records to prove it you should be good to go.

It was my family who came to the rescue. I was on the phone with my mom and told her  I couldn't take the pain anymore, I loved her and was gonna end everything that night. My phone blew up. Relatives were calling. My brother in law came in to town to give me some of his pain pills. Though I was in so much pain, I felt so much love from my family for stepping in and this is what gave me the strength to hang in there.

I'm in my 30's as well and doctors really do not care as evident by all the stories on here. It's sad but I feel like we all have each other around here so I am thankful to be apart of this community. It does me good to get on here and chat even when I'm not search for sources.

You sound like me 5 years ago. You should at least order some trams to help with the pain till you find a doc to help.

Liquid magnesium injections can be a miracle if you have access. Usually 100cc with an insulin syringe can work wonders in a day or two - (and swallowing copious amounts of Magnesium Malate 10-15 pills daily) can help, too. The liquid injections are intramuscular, and work very quickly.

Yes, doctors are turning away from painkillers like oral opioids out of concern about abuse. Pain clinics even more so.

However, there are creams that deliver relief more directly to painful joints or muscles, with less narcotics entering the bloodstream to cause side effects. RxPro is a great company that offers topical pain relief. Another is ABC Plus. Both are compounding pharmacies. Currently, the compounded creams contain Ketamine as the active ingredient, among other anti-inflammatory ingredients. I can give you or your Physician a referral for a rep to fill a script for topical pain cream. It's usually covered by insurance - but since it's compounded will take 1-2 business days for Fed-Ex to deliver.

Also! No inflammatory foods! If you can, avoid dairy, minimize meat consumption - and just go for the natural stuff like fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, potatoes and brown rice as starches and lots of herbs like cilantro and parsley.

Yoga - or if you know the proper exercises - can ease, not cure the pain.

Comfortable sleep position (like pillow between the knees) will help a lot, too.

Does Ketamine carry any huge side effects?

Ketamine in a topical formula does NOT have side effects. However, topical medications are used as an adjunct to oral pain prescriptions - so one must always know their limits. Think of it this way...oral meds are systemic and affect your whole body - topical pain meds are localized - so no organ or vital parts involved! Topical creams are a great way to supplement the narcotics without any further damage.

I think I may have found a solution for myself for the time being...don't want to jinx myself...knocks on wood.

So I went to a new PCP on Thursday. This guy made me feel like he cared...........he spent an hour going over my medical records I brought in, xrays and talking to me. He was so detailed about everything and I loved it. He told me the reason I'm treated the way I am by pain management clinics is because I'm not their target. Basically their targets are generally older people who have chronic pain and they know are addicted to pain pills. They make money off of us younger chaps  who have chronic pain by doing expensive injections because they don't want to give us PKs.

Though he was wonderful he was incredibly squirly about prescribing vikes. He only gave me 10 and I had to take a urine test for 10 lil old vikes.....my God what's the world coming to right!!??

He did prescribe Cymbalta and 1mg Ativan. He told me to take the Cymbalta first and only take the Ativan when I needed it and definitely made it a point to say only take Vikes when I'm in my worst pain. You should have seen my face when I saw the script for 10 vikes. I was like I'm in my worst pain a lot and you only gave me 10.....sheesh. Not to mention, he went into this lil old shared site that allows docs to pull up a patients prescription history.................good grief.........I guess we'll all be treated a druggies if we keep going the way we are.

Well anyways, I picked up all the scripts today. I took one Cymbalta together with one Ativan and to my surprise, it alleviated the pain. It's still there but just reduced to where I can bear it. Loving the nice little buzz I have.

Just wanted to throw this out there for those who are in chronic pain and hopefully help someone. He definitely told me stop taking the Robaxin. Didn't get a chance to ask him why because he was talking so much. If any of you guys have questions, please feel free to ask.

God you can't even hey Neuron??? That's not even a narc. Our healthcare system is getting ridiculous concering pain patients by the minute.

He gave this long speech about how he doesn't want to use vikes longterm. He gave me the impression this would be the one and only script he would write......then on top of that made me take a urine test. That was the only part that made me feel dehuminized. A urine test for 10 pills!!

He didn't do a referal just wanted to see how I'd do with the Cymbalta first and to my surprise I'm still going strong. I mean the pain went from a 9 to like a 2 and that's a lot! I took it with the Lorazepam.

I'm hoping this will be the beginning of getting my life back. You know what I speak of when I say, this has ruined life and turned it upside down. The tears, thoughts of suicide..............people don't realize how bad this is.

I really wish there was a doctor I knew in your area I could refer you to. My only suggestion right now is the Kratom and utilize these boards. Ya might have to move to Denver....I've thought about that a couple of times. The one time I was there I was pain free the whole time if you know what I mean.
