Looking for best herbal/natural bento

Hi Everyone,

New to this site. I have had a lot of luck with kratom for pain relief. Does anyone know if there's a kratom-like substitute for the anxiety relief of benzos? I have tried kava kava, valerian root, turmeric, and nothing is giving me quite the same relief that benzos do, but I'm trying to stay away from them. I've looked at the "legal high" site but I honestly don't know what I'm looking for yet. I'd like a highly sedating, relaxing natural substance, if one even exists!

Thanks for your help!

Hey hun,

I experimented with natural benzo-esque substances for quite a while and the best ones I found were kava kava, valerian root, blue lotus and california poppy. All of these can be found on theinternet. Nothing will never quite match actual benzos. Might I suggest using one of these natural herbs in conjunction with some bud? A nice indica like grandaddy purp even on its own can have some wonderful anti-anxiety properties mixed with a nice euphoria. Best of luck!

I love blue lotus tinctures, except the ones on ebay; they taste horrid and do not relax.  I'm still not sure what the best source is.  It doesn't put me to sleep, but it's great for panic attacks.  They also say it has aphrodisiac effects, but that only happened to me once as I got hi; it's hit or miss, sometimes a benzo buzz, usually just a background calm.  I keep running out of the stuff.  What's the best brand?  If I like it, I'll stock up on a larger size.  I miss it.

Don’t bother buying gaba supplements. The Gaba doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier so you’ll get nothing but placebo. Otherwise Gaba would be your best bet. You have phenibut but that’s just as harsh as benzos. Some people get good results from Theanine and Lions Mane. Beta blockers like Clonidine also work wonders for anxiety if your willing to go that route.

Picamilon is gaba that's made with niacin in a way that lets it cross the blood brain barrier unlike gaba alone.. You can only dose so much before the negative niacin effects start. You can't just buy gaba then add niacin when taking it as that's not how it works. Its physically addictive not as bad as phenibut I presume but its still not a good idea to use to often.

I tried all types of kava, multiple days and weeks at a time. Concentrates regular etc and nothing.

Yeah I didn't grt anything from kava either. I really wish I did. Everyone says it's awesome but I've tried it so much and nothing. Got a big old bag just sitting here I'll probably never touch again

Old posts but it's worth having a good description to reference to. Kava is great but you have to prepare it properly and drink it the right way. It won't work right unless you do it just right. You need to get the best kind, noble kava. Get the kind they say is strong with mind and especially body effects. The stuff from Vanuatu is awesome. Fiji and a few other islands have the good stuff. Once you have the basics down you can experiment with other stuff.

Don't get the micronized or concentrates. You're better off getting the real stuff and doing it like the islanders. They've been drinking it for centuries and getting all fucked up. You need a powerful blender or mixer and a straining bag. You can buy one for cheap or an old t-shirt works fine. Mix the powder and water on medium high to HIGH on the blender or mixer for a long time. 5-10 minutes.

The longer you blend it at high settings the better it works. You want an emulsification, it causes the good stuff in the kava to get suspended in the liquid. Warmer temperatures, 75-110 degrees F work best. Don't go higher than 120 F, it'll kill the kava. Cold doesn't work as well. Then you strain it through your sieve bag or t-shirt or whatever you're using. Save the stuff you sieved, you can reblend it to get the rest of the stuff out of it.

The stuff doesn't taste good, no getting around that. Sometimes it'll make you nauseous but resist the urge to puke. Don't try mixing it with other shit, it just means more to drink. A lot of people try mixing it with dairy. That's a bad idea, don't do it. The best thing is to cool it off. I add a bunch of ice cubes and store it in the fridge. You want it cold but not so cold you can't chug it.

That's exactly what you want to do, chug it. Drink as much of it as fast as you can without puking. The other trick is to have an empty stomach. Any food will stop your stomach from absorbing it. Especially heavy food with fats and oils. Meat, dairy, bread and other starches aren't good. If you have to eat something fruit and melons are your best bet. Fruit juice will cut some of the nausea. If you drink the stuff on a full stomach you'll never get off.

How much should you drink? I'd say at least 32 oz at once. As much as you can get down and keep chugging. It's not easy but you'll be rewarded by a delightful body high and a solid head stoning. Walking becomes difficult. Don't try to drive. If you need to sober up a meal of heavy food will help. A light meal of fish or chicken and salad or a potato, or just fruit before bed will result in a good night's sleep.

Look into magnolia bark extract. It is a rare chemical that actively crosses the BBB and attached itself to GABA-a, what Xanax, all benzos hit.

It's natural but has almost identical effects.

The higher the honokiol content, the stronger

I typically use Amazon 20 dollar 90% Mag bark w/ 90% honokiol. It also has 90% magnolol part of the more physical aspects of it. Will help with pain, inflammation and if ya take enough, it's gonna feel very much like a benzo.
