Found a new L listing from a trusted vendor, which he just added and already order a sheet. Classic James. Classic Benzos I think is the thread.

Ask him for a new menu, you guys will love his pricing - especially how significant the price breaks get the more you buy.

I’m not qualified to say either. In my decades of experience with LSD, I’ve never had LSD that seemed any different from any other. LSD.

I’ve certainly had doses that were stronger or weaker, but that could be explained by how it was handled by the person I got it from.

I’ve been following this thread also- and your posts seem very informative- I’ve been wondering if the lower prices reflect the quality- proper storage, handling and all that. It seems like that is a big factor when it comes to strength?? Just thought it would be a question (even if it’s kind of a stupid one) to ask given your knowledge and personal experience that far exceeds mine.

every one I've had that was named different, looked different, was different. But this is a long time ago. Might be how the grass scene went, local indoors and uniformly sativa force fed with chems for a dubious hi. Just my experience.

These are from my observations, readings and conversations over many years, I'm not a ch3mist, just an observer of things of import to me. So, IMO ...

Anything will degrade if kept in the wrong conditions for long enough, though pure ch3ms are intrinsically durable they are not indestructible. Some ch3ms are more durable than others and properly kept (usually cool, dark, dry and sealed) can last years or decades - depends.

I've had ph@rma that has lasted over 10 years and no sign of degradation despite variable conditions except one, moisture - never allowed to vary. If moisture gets into any ph@rma/ch3m the other factors of light and heat and air multiply or accelerate the potential degradation. I've had other ph@rma kept in more or less the same conditions for the same time and they are unusable, seems some impurities degraded regardless and affected the desired/active ingredient - probably they were poorly cut and/or handled to begin with.

Whether the quality and strength are reflected in the price is another matter. Some are in it only for the money and will sell you bunk for the highest price. Others are in it with a sense of integrity and sell quality at reasonable prices. So IME the answer is no to that, price is not necessarily a reflection of product quality, or not always.

With regards to L$D in particular, the same applies really, except it is apparently particularly sensitive to heat and light. Though seeing as it mostly comes on blotters (paper with its own ch3ms) and tabs or gels both usually home made and subject to contamination, adulteration and degradation in the wrong hands or conditions the shelf life is variable. But clean L$D, however it comes, can keep for many years properly stored, like most other ch3ms. But I wouldn't have as much confidence in blotters bc of the paper it's on - it depends on whether it is designed to be stored or rapidly distributed and consumed, etc.

Properly kept needlepoint (the purest crystal form, on my to get list) could potentially last into post ap0calypt1c times. See you around ...

Fluff is often referred to derogatorily but I don't accept it's intrinsically and less than needlepoint, just different. Like different artists creative different art. It would be a poor world if all was the same. With L$D I believe all the small things matter and only serve to inform the end result, the characteristics of the trip. Which is why I believe intent matters.

Happy to be corrected, no doubt others are more informed than I ... I believe the principles of durability and survivability are inherent to base material purity, production standards and technique, handling and storage. And to an unknowable qualitative degree, intent informs all the other ingredients so it matters too.

Intent matters doesn't it? When you intend something and act to bring it about, there is the matter of it. Though in this world there are other's intents that can be contrary or complimentary of your own, affecting the end result.

Thanks for taking the time @Heman for the detailed reply!! I’ve learned a lot from everyone who has contributed their knowledge and experience here! Great topic @Natalensis - you have sparked my curiosity of taking a second look at this particular magazine I have been reluctant to start reading again for a long time and it’s been quite enjoyable actually! The prices are considerably less expensive than the subscriptions I remember being available 25-30 years ago when I did a LOT of reading Don’t have the luxury of time and energy to enjoy all of the fun I had waaayyyy back then-but weekends and holidays still work for me! Really looking forward to the summer and lots of fun things planned - so I have gone ahead and started stocking up. It will be nice to have for a few shows I am treating myself to and whenever I’ll have time to be relaxing in my hammock too! So much fun to be gently swinging in it underneath the stars -and enjoining the nice weather that should be right around the corner

I see that Apollo has made some recent changes to their L listings. The pricing structures are updated and quite competitive now, along with the addition of gel tabs.

I’m particularly interested in trying the gel tabs - has anyone given these a go?

Not yet-but I am thinking about giving them a try. Pretty solid vendor-I’ve had great success working with him. No snags of any kind and communication has been excellent. I’ll keep you posted.

- Netflix also has a good recent doc on psychedelics called “In Waves and War” that’s great.

Definitely- on all three! I actually read the book before I watched “How to Change Your Mind”. I got a little bit into Pollen’s new book last night before I conked out he is such an interesting person!!
If you have Prime Video @Natalensis “Descending the Mountain” is really good. “Magic Medicine” on YouTube is great as well as “How Psilocybin Mushrooms Can Help Save The World with Paul Stamets” He also gave a lecture at the Eden Foundation that posted about a month ago “Psychedelics as Medicine 2025 - Psilocybin Mushrooms Bridges Cultures & Continents // Paul Stamets” that’s also on YouTube (hopefully you have the premium bc the adds are f’n annoying!!) **And don’t forget the three seasons of “Hamilton’s Pharmacopia” those are very interesting to watch as well!
