They recently rebranded and pulled a fast one shortly after as well. The same entity runs both active sites in the subject line.
I have experience with both the old and new sites. The old site is likely well-known to many. I suspect the rebrand was to run from their negative reviews on TP. They look good as MallardMed on there (for now), because when people complain on a public form like that, they end up going from 2-3 stars to 5 stars once "Amy" from CS jumps in to comment. IDK why people do that. Just because they made it right when you had to wait 2 months for magazines doesn't mean an automatic full A+ rating.
I placed an order in late April and paid for 3-5 day US shipping. I received only 1/3 of the mags and within (iirc) ~6-8 weeks. I emailed them many times, as you can imagine, and I was nice the whole time. CS rep "Amy" would respond with the same drag-along responses as usual. All I got were false promises of "in the next few days they will go out," etc.... Realizing what they were doing after now months of not delivering or offering any real info of value to me as a customer, I am considering it a loss at this point.
In the last 2-3 weeks (from the date of this post) they have spun MM into a "Noots" and "ED" type site with a call to action in several places to inquire about their "special stock." Their TG handle is on there, so I jumped in as a new account and played dumb and got the info I needed. Their real magazine subscriptions are now at Veridian.cx. Not only did they rebrand, they rebranded and split off the magazine business into a new domain.
These people stole money from me. Don't make the same mistake I did by giving them yours. They don't deserve it and there are 100 other, better, more reputable magazine vendors out there.
