Come on members lets get this forum rolling...I know im not the only member married...Lets make this forum the best around!!!!!!!! /default_cool.png

Ah hell.. this is an older post but I'll keep it alive! lol .. I'm married too.. 5 years now.. love the ass with all my heart.. (Oh yes.. i say that with complete affection!).. I'm also mommy to the most amazing 4 year old boy. Hes way too smart for his own good.. example: I tried reverse psychology on him trying to get him to pick up his toys. I say "Baby, please pick up your toys..."... "Nuh uh.. I'm busy"... "I don't think you know how to pick those toys up. Bet you can't even do it.."......"You're right mommy... but I know you can!!".... Ok, this was coming from a 3 year old at the time. I about fell over backwards! Me and my husband definatley have our ups and downs.. but that little man keeps us in check! <3

LMAO! WELL, we as parents have to come up with new ones all the time for kids these days don' t fall for things like we did.

I would like to see it stay alive too soooooooooo, first congrats to Xan and Aylakai. My mom and dad have been married for 37 years and I'm 38 (hehe). They certainly had their ups and downs but pulled through. I think people today are not willing to put any work into it and its not easy. I fell for every line my parents told me and it did keep me in check. I was the easy boy to parent, always minded and in before 10pm. My brother, another story.

I almost married my high school sweetheart I attended the prom with was always hoping I would propose. She is a lovely and special person that I will never forget. She never married. First I always knew I didn't have the financial means to take care of a family and second I'm

This forum rocks and it could be helpful in more ways that its title alone.

Ok.. first I should say that batting for the other team may just be a little more important that the finacial aspect... lmao! And come give my boy some damn manners! I'm afraid he's gonna be a little hellion when he gets let lose and it's gonna be up to mama and daddy to bail him out!

Personal story, I got married at 46, after making a commitment to myself never to marry.

So I finally met "Mr. Wonderful" yeah right.

If we stayed married, it be 1 yr. in May. At first he seemed to be a godsend, very supportive and my best friend. Well, then weird things started to happen. He started blowing up and I found he was always lit with prescription meds. His pain Dr. prescribes 2 100mg ms contin daily plus 10 mg 180 percs for break through pain monthy. Lately he has gotten more delusional than normal. I felt I was doing a good thing by being a nurse to him.

We could never combine households a real problem, and my last visit to see him, he dumped anti-freeze in my gas tank so I couldn't leave him. He went angel to outright devil, now I am "home" kids grown and gone....facing a divorce. For some people marriage is a big mistake, before I met him, I had a decent life and a good paying job. It was the empty nest that got me, and the need to take care of someone, boy I got burned. Marriage isn't for everybody.

im still technically married to that b***h even tho she left me while i was "away" upstate.

left me for someone who can keep a roof over her head and her addiction going...

she was the love of my life but she is beyond the reach of any mortal because of her monstrous addiction to anything and everything...

unlike me that just needs a little help coping cuz the truth hurts so bad and i have quite a few medical conditions that warrant meds...

but now i got someone new that is the complete opposite... and another son on the way... god help me...

but anyways marriage is great!!! anytime to anyone who will say yes that does it for me i say!!!

that should make 10 posts!!!!!! i want my discount!!!

My parents have been married for 45 years and although lately it's been more of a struggle than bliss, I still respect them for fighting through it and not divorcing. People change so much in that amount of time however, even if freindship is strong.

Thinking about getting engaged real young.... im 18 being engaged by 20 doesnt sound bad. The woman i am with i think i can see myself being engaged to , been with her for 1 and a half years.....on and off though =P

Well this is without doubt a diverse thread. Cool to know people are not afraid to be themselves here haha.

I have been married now for 3 years and I trust my wife and she does me too. I never ask her where the hell are you going and does not do that to me. We work together most days and still enjoy coming home to read and watch a movie. Helps that we also enjoy the same type of music also. Yes up and down rollercoaster but what marriage is not these days.
