First money transfer went through. Second money transfer was rejected.Third attempt with different $$ transfer that the  Vendor gave me a  to try- it was rejected. WTF??????

If more vendors accepted Bitcoin, and more members would learn to use it, there wouldn't be any issues with payment. Money transfer companies are all horse shit.

@FlyAway

For me some reason I am not seeing the @ reply option anymore, so I blanked out your post using +quote. not sure why that is happening.
Anyway  the to the point, I totally agree. With your help I was able to get BTC figured out. For me, transfers are not an option. I recently had a horrible experience with a W$ agent and am probably bl@ck&d.

Problem with BTC is that some ‘folks’ have a higher (transfer?) rate so they end up losing a lot, from my understanding (from what I’ve read & have been told, because I’m absolutely clueless about BTC). That’s what I got from why everyone doesn’t accept/use it.

Not sure what you mean by higher transfer & losing a lot? But for myself & the receiver we haven't had any issues that I know of. Some of the amounts I send can be quite a bit sometimes. You have to know how to work with BTC to your advantage.

I’m just going by what I’ve heard as to why some vendors don’t use it. And transfer wasn’t the right word, should’ve been conversion. But, as I’ve said, I have no clue how to use BTC, even after reading the how-to’s and watching videos. Lol.

I know how to use B-T-C, the problem for me is every exchange I've come across wants full I.D., a picture of you holding I.D., a handwritten note and some even request video chat before releasing their crypt0 so I can transfer to a secure wallet. I agree with FlyA that wiring companies are generally shit, but the last time I went to an in-person agent and made a <500 $ donation I didn't have a problem but who knows now, that was quite awhile ago.

I wish there was a forum like this just for P2P crypt0 trades that didn't have such stringent rules for trading. I remember when crypt0 used to be easy as hell to trade or sell before The Governmints of the world had to step on another good thing 😕

BTC was a huge pain in the ass for me.  I mean tears, cussing it was beyond frustrating.  The problem I found was just trying to get a wallet was difficult because they wanted my address and it couldn't be found by these co.  I literally looked up while in the market one day and found a machine/kiosk at my market.  I live in a very small town so I was surprised.  Then I had to use their wallet and that was a whole shit show.  Had to go to my local cell phone store and have what looked like a 10 year old girl do it for me.

I don't find the conversion very difficult as you can always google it.  Or ask a very smart person...lol.

Anyway if we sometimes pay up to $75 for shipping a conversion ding to BTC shouldn't hurt too bad.  I'm seriously bad at all this technology.  My smart phone in my hands isn't exactly a smart phone.

The cash @pp is the easiest way I’ve found to purchase bitcoin. There is a verification process (which is pretty standard) that is currently taking longer than usual, but still took less time than Coinbase. Support is easy to contact and they respond very quickly (whereas I found Coinbase support to be nonexistent). There are videos that demonstrate how to use the app, and sending to an external wallet took no time at all. The fees were minimal too, only the mining fee if I remember correctly. I’ve used many different options and this was the most user friendly, cost effective method I’ve used. It’s also an app, so no computer is needed. The conversion is listed, also, no need to look elsewhere or do any math. I saw this recommended in the forum, and already had a Square account from kids in Scouts needing a way to take credit cards for fundraisers, so that was another plus. You can use a bank account or a debit or credit card.

Hi @Gracie5 I'll have to find out more about the cash @app.  When I first tried the whole wallet process another member gave me a name of one to download onto my phone.  The problem I had was my bank is not recognized as a major bank.  Such as B of A etc.  Then I tried another wallet and it first wanted my address but my mail has to go to a P.O. Box as we don't get home delivery so then I couldn't proceed on that wallet.  That's where I really had problems.  Then I just happened to run into the kiosk.  Maybe yours doesn't have all those questions that I would have to say no to.  At least I have an option now but I guess you can get banned from Coinbase pretty easy so I may need to find an alternative.

Setting up a new bank would be easy but the home delivery mail part is a deal breaker so any thoughts?

Plus I feel like I stick out at that kiosk right there where people check out.  I know it's just a matter of time before someone approaches me that I know and says, "Yo blondie what the hell are you doing!!!"

@mountaincat9I know they take your bank, I checked. I think as long as your ID matches the address you have listed, you’re good. I tried looking for that info before writing, but couldn’t find anything specific to answer. I think it’s your physical address, not mailing, because they won’t be mailing you anything.

Too funny about being the only blonde! I have never visited one of the ATMs- they are mostly in sketchier parts of the city where I live, so I can only imagine. 😂

Maybe try online version,

I was banned from both of the big 2 due to sy xfers,

However now after many many years of being banned I'm still banned from one of them however the online version of the w has worked!

I better only do large orders this time

Sm just had a hold put on my funds for the first time.

I was getting nervous and was going to call next day but they released the funds and they got

Picked up an hour later with no issues.  Anyone else ever have a hold put on and then off before?

Yes, not with SM, but WU. It actually occurred several times and then the entire seized fund thing occurred and I've been flagged by them since.
