MXE Question

There is a mystery about MXE I cannot workout in my head. If you can get almost any banned substance online, what's different about MXE? Is the precursor hard to get? Is the recipe closely guarded? Are the penalties relatively extreme? Seems to be a lot of nostalgia with this, so I imagine there's a high demand.

I don't think it is as widely in demand as you think it is. It's a relatively minor subset of fiends who would want this. It is also notoriously illegal and most manufacturers and vendors don't want to mess with that. Personally, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. It demanded too much and almost swallowed my soul.

Its actually relatively easy to synth, on par with ketamine. Not sure why some small lab hasnt done it. Could easily sell it for $200-$300 a gram to a pretty decent size customer base.

its technically doable and some demand for it definitely exists, mostly within RC circles tho and generally RC labs and vendors are more hesitant about drawing a lot of unwanted attention (which this would do) especially when its about chems that are just straight up illegal. they tend to stick to gray areas and keeping things lowkey. idk just my thoughts

Though I miss her, I would NEVER pay such high prices for a risky business. Which of course means that it is unlikely to reappear unless one has a chemist in their backyard.

It was a mistake by the powers that be to make this thing so illegal, I believe it to be the CURE of many a neurodivergent person. I believe that it is a better solution to kê†åmïñê therapy. Safer in so many ways. It was cruel what was done to such a diamond of a chemical.

A mistake? Perhaps, but they weren't given much choice. Many people at the time, especially in Europe, thought the stuff was a substitute for methylone or mephedrone. Soon enough you had people melting down on the streets of London after realizing the true nature of the beast and being hurled into another universe. The bans were just a reaction to these events.

There are things available, made by chemists, that have an extremely bad perception on its effects on society. Met comes to mind. Just doesn't seem consistent. Very interesting in my opinion.

so not the point, there are tons of things worse than MXE, but demand for MXE exists within a small amount of RC users only. If some cartel type shit thought they could cheaply make it and move kilos for big profit, they would, but its such a different situation. "chemists" arent a single minded group of people, RC market is catered to by very different labs.
