My Most Abused Drug?

Trazodone makes me feel the next day like an out body experience ,only med that helps me sleep is clonazepam,it works on my depression,I`m also a chronic back pain sufferer ,ritalin helps me concentrate ,works as analgesic on my back,Take tramadol like 2 hours before bedtime ,I had been taking the same script, for more than a year without ant tolerance, I take the same amount, but I take it just once at night with the clonazepam <i sleep from 6 yo 9 hours daily, also do some exercise for my stomach careful not to hurt my back  ,
i was given trazadone from my doc to help me sleep after opi wds,i never got a wink of sleep at night but the next day I was like something from the walking dead!!!.

Not good when you have a physical job that requires driving from job to job, needless to say I packed them in after a week and found Taking nothing felt better than taking trazadone.I have heard some say they work for them but trazadone most certainly does NOT work for me.....

Bliss....

Unisom is much stronger than benadryl and I like it a lot better, plus its OTC.  You can get phenagrin from Canada and that will KO you..
Hmm I don't see how Unisom can be stronger than benadryl since they both have the same ingredient (25mgs of diphenhydramine hcl). I assume when You buy Unisom you are just paying extra for the brand name. I just take a couple benadryls along with a couple of clonz. Phenergan is available on SL. I was interested in getting some Phenergan because it supposedly potentiates kode@n, but I guess it's mainly a sedative/antihistamine. I myself have been looking for a sure fire medicine to help me when i have bouts of insomnia, but everything I tried didn't really work. Benzoes worked well the first few days but the tolerance builds so quickly. I haven't found the perfect pill to make sure i can get to sleep, but sometimes when I have to be somewhere and I can't get to sleep the night before, I get desperate and start taking excessive amounts of cl0n@zepams and Ben@dryl and sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. I've tried Z0lpidem and Hydr0xycine too. The only way I get sleep is when I am super tired and fall asleep. It's weird though because I could be up for two days and then get some sleep on the third day but only  about 4 or 5 hours at most, and that's enough for me to get by. But If I have an appointment for something important on a certain day, I get anxiety and usually end up having insomnia that night and have to cancel my appointment.

Doxylamine succinate is the active ingredient in Unisom, it is not the same as benadryl other than being a first gen antihisamine.  It is much stronger IMO.  I'm not a big fan of Phenagrin as an opiate potentiator, it overshadows the opiates and I just feel super tired like benadryl on steroids.

oh okay sorry about that, my mistake. I thought Unisom and pretty much every otc sleep medicine like tylenol pm just added the diphenhdramine which is what Benadryl is. I ugess I was wrong about that. I've tried Unisom in the past for insomnia but it didn't seem to work for me. Nothing really seems to work for me so I'm not saying the stuff is weak, it's just that I tried pretty much everything and developed tolerances for all sorts of stuff. I haven't tried phenagrin as an opiate potentiator yet but I think I will some day. Just to test it out.

If your in the UK the boots brand 50mg sleepease help you out,and they are a fraction of the price of nytol as it's the exact same ingredients, your just paying for the branded nytol so stick with boots brand....

Bliss. ...

Kodee would be the most for me, going by the many years I've been taking it.. but addee fits the term abused more. It turned from 'miracle ' to obsession pretty quickly. You can read the warnings everywhere but some just have to learn their own lessons I guess.

I used to find midaz my favourite for sleep even tho its so short acting, it worked so Nicely. I alternative now, but dont use otc bc I hate feeling drowsy/fuzzy the next day - which oddly I get less of with benz and z's (not inc mog!). I also dont enjoy things like phenergan as potentiator, again bc of the drowsiness and such.

I 'm prescribed trazadone as well and there's nothing worse than a 100mg traz hangover.... ugh they are so gross.

Mine was the H then I discovered diconal then then it got tense for some years and for the last fifteen years I have just stuck to my meds subs and vals the not my fave fave I like the maximum effect say from many zans but I always chasing something I never seem to get nowadays, soooo I stick to Valerie so I guess they are my favs all round the big picture they settle my anxiety so happy.

If you are willing to share rec. what sort of mg's are you talking about with the diaz per day. I have an opiate addiction that runs for over 20 years. Recently I have been tapering the op's with diaz helping with the withdrawals which are plain nasty as I am sure you are more than aware. Alps hit me hard and generally knock me out so have canned them. Clonz don't seem to help as well as the diaz and loraz I just find does nothing. ( may have been a crap batch). Quit the tramadol about six weeks ago, that was a b1tch.

GP has prescribed escitalopram and propanalol for anxiety. Obviously no recreational effect but I am looking at reducing my intake after many years of escalating dosages. Happy for a PM.

I've took 20 ten mg vals yes it relaxes me but no euphoria many times but I just take 2, 2 times a day I no what you mean the clonazes didn't seem any stronger guess its just to do with tolerance,..... Tolerance what a bummer of a thing. Any way I hop you are OK

  11. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  12. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  14. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  16. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
  17. Alkazar @ Alkazar: It is INSANE how doctors treat tax paying hard working people like criminals when they ask for opioids. This world just keeps getting more and more backwards. But thanks to this site to be able to find people to help when no one in the medical world will.
