Although I'm not a big part of this community I'm doing my best to spread the word among all the places I visit online. My niece passed away Saturday morning and due to her many medical problems (Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, etc.) she was ininsured.

I am sure the good people here will help spread the word, her FB page is AuBress Place and funds are being raised at GoFundMe. I'm sure all the good people here will do their best to help spread the word so we can raise the money to pay off her funeral expenses.

Thanks and bless you for any help you can offer.

Sincerely,

PITA

PITA, I am so sorry for your loss, and hope you continue to gain financial support for the funeral. She was such a young beautiful girl...

Best Wishes to you and your family.

My condolences to you and her family. It's so heartbreaking to lose a child. I'll make a donation to their Gofund.

Echoing the others here Pita, I am really sorry for your loss... I hope you get the help you need in what must be a very tough time...

My best to you and your family and of course, I will do my bit on the donation and spreading the word front...

~P~

Im so sorry for your loss. Besides a donation if you ever need moral support, please pm me anytime. Take care.

PITA losing a family member or relative is always a sad part of life.

Your niece did not  only have a chance to grow up, get married, have a family and have a happy and fulfilling life but God chose her to be with him at such a early age of her life because she was a strong and special person.

Prayers for your niece and her family.

I appreciate the kind words and support during this time of need. If everyone would just spread the word through their FB, Twitter and other online communities I'm sure we can surpass the goal very quickly.

Although she was only 2 1/2 she had already been through 16 surgeries and faced the most serious one, a 12 hour ordeal which would implant a rod and brace in her back in less than two weeks. The Shriners Hospital and local Children's Hospital were practically her second home. But through it all she kept a smile on her face that would help everyone see their own troubles from a new perspective. Now she not only has her wings, she also has a perfectly fine body that allows her to walk, talk, skip and run like all the other children she's with now.

In under a day the people in my circle of online communities has almost increased the prior donations by 10%. Even if you are not able to donate you can help by simply spreading the news to your circle of friends online. I'm sure by doing so the money will not only reach but surpass the goal in no time.

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers, it shows what a great community this is.

Wishing all the best to you and yours,

PITA

Pita,

I remember the photo you posted of your niece when she was born. It's imprinted in my memory perfectly - with that pink head band and beautiful innocence (next to your ugly mug)! LOL!

The love you shared for your niece years ago still resonates. It was and still remains one of the strongest memories I have of you. Needless to say, I'm devastated to hear about your loss. No parent should ever have to bury their child. The loss of a child steals away part of the human spirit, and it's never regained. Grieving the loss of a child is a process, it begins the day your child passes, and ends the day the parent joins them. My prayers are with your sister, your family and especially you.

It reminds me of a quote. "One day, a son asked his father, 'Why is it always the best people who die?' The father answered, "Son, if you are in a meadow, which flowers do you pick? The worst ones or the best ones?" While this will not heal your suffering, please know God chose well.

I will certainly donate to your niece's fund. I encourage anyone on DBG with five extra dollars to do the same. The cost of funerals are criminal - so too is health care. Child loss is not an event - it's an indescribable journey of survival - and it begins with six feet of uncovered earth and a tombstone.

My prayers are with you Bama.

Hugs!

Oh PITA i am so sorry! My love is with you and your family. What a trooper she was! I know it is very cliche but she is not suffering anymore. She is well and with God. One of the littlest angels. Absolutely, i will share on fb and twitter! I will continue to pray for you. Big hugs my friend!

Thank both of you kind souls. Although I hate it had to be in a post like this it is a pleasure to hear from you as well as the others who have commented. I'm sure your kindness will come back many times over.

A nice loving hug back to you two along with everyone else who took the time to respond.

In order to help spread the news for those on Twitter I've copied my post, hopefully you can copy and paste it too.

To everyone who wants to help make a difference, please retweet http://www.gofundme.com/lvxxwk

Bless you all,

Done. My sincere condolences also. I have had a similar experience. It's so difficult.

Truly sorry for your loss, my prayers and condolences are with you. Can't even imagine the situation you are in but hope you find the support you need.

Again, my deepest condolences to you and your family.

I appreciate the kindness but know she is no longer a special needs child. My sister and her husband were her caretakers, the ones who had to cath her every 4 hours as well as take her to countless appointments. Many of them required drives to the NC Shriners hospital. The most amazing part of her was a constant smile. It was a gift I wish I could share with everyone, to show how someone who was born differently didn't know she was special. It always made me happy, as well as envious, to share a little tea party with her and wish I had the strength she did.

Thanks to everyone for the support. I truly believe karma will reward those who have been nice enough to help spread the word.

A sincere hug to everyone who was kind enough to respond.
