I'm not one for sticky sweet romance, some ladies fall all over themselves for the candles and roses, so I won't discount that approach.

However, if you know your Valentine well enough, perhaps you can think of one...(or six) things that they dislike doing. When they least expect it, quietly take care of those tasks.

If you do it with love in your heart and without expectation of any specific reaction, your Valentine might be more than tickled, certainly more relaxed...and in my opinion, a relaxed Valentine = a willing playmate.

In my experience lots of fun and frolicking can easily take place after 2 a.m.

Valentine's Day can spill right over into the next day...or days.

I've never known of a lady who wouldn't invite a little romance any day of the year.

I don't know why but this is so comforting to me....lol...I like it! Throw in a trip to I-Hop and I'd say this would be my best VD ever! But just getting this from you HB would be special in itself..awe...

I love breakfast myself! Can't beat a cheese omelet and pancakes with Butter Pecan syrup. I'm up at 2:30 anyway so we won't have to worry about that vday crowd...And speaking of Waffle House, I have a friend who has a family tradition of going there on Christmas night with her family. And I have spent many nights at Waffle Houses nursing a soon to be hangover! (Back in the day of course)
