Need Google Pay help

Hey folks, I have a vendor that accepts Google Pay which I’m completely new to. I download the app, follow directions and add my bank debit card info. When I go to pay the invoice I was sent, I get a message saying Send will be delayed up to 2 days, the I hit send again..and get a message saying my info could not be confirmed. No texts, messages or emails asking me to verify anything with my bank or google.?? I’ve double, triple checked everything possible and still cannot pay invoice with the same messages. Does anyone have any experience with Google Pay or could possibly help me out with this frustrating dilemma. Thanks in advance!! :)
