CENTERVILLE, OH (FOX19) - According to police,  a pilot and his wife died of an apparent fentanyl overdose in their Centerville home. Their children found them when they were getting ready for school.
Thursday morning, two of their children, ages 13 and 11, called 911 saying their father and mother were cold to the touch in their bedroom.
The Dayton Daily news reported the couple, 36-year-old Brian and 34-year-old Courtney Halye, died of an apparent drug overdose. It's been reported the couple died from a, "heroin-fentanyl related death."
Police said things like this generally don't happen in this quiet community.
Brian Halye was a pilot for Spirit Airlines, which operates out of the Cleveland-Akron Area, but does not operate at CVG.

FOX19 NOW has requested drug screening information from the airline. It's unclear if he had any type of drug history.
Airline Expert Jay Ratliff said drug tests are pretty standard and pilots can be tested at any time.
"Pilots are subjected to random drug tests, alcohol tests from the FAA. They do maybe 15,000 tests and maybe ten that fail those," he said.
Ratliff also said despite hearing this tragic story, you shouldn't feel unsafe the next time you fly.
"I don't want to minimize anything, but when you look at the numbers its not something we would consider out of control at this point," he said.
A statement from the airline reads in part, "Captain Halye served at the airline for just over nine years. Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and colleagues of Captain Halye."
The children are staying with family.

Absolutely tragic children scared for life and I mean life P.T.S.D. Will be one for sure omg I know how they feel!!!?

F3n+@nyI is indeed dangerous. Dosage amounts are in the same range as L$d, but to od is much more life threatening.

  1. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: domestic p1ns are harder and harder to come by which sucks and when I find them, they're so expensive
  2. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: me too. sad to see and hear but honestly when R told me he was serving 6,000 people, I knew it was a matter of time
  3. C @ Charizard179: Still pisses me off, common folk need subscriptions for anxiety etc, while the “big dogs” at the top are obviously subscribed out of their minds on high energy shit
  4. C @ Charizard179: Domestic only for a while. Should be fine
  5. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: so anything I get coming to me from outside the country will be inspected regardless if it looks sus or not
  6. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: I've been flagged and sent a love letter a long time ago for an international shipment
  7. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: doubtful, unless international
  8. C @ Charizard179: Possibilities of getting red flagged etc
  9. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: right but you're fine
  10. C @ Charizard179: Small fish, 1 time subscriber…shit still sucks
  11. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: they want big fish
  12. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Unless you're a big buyer they don't give a care
  13. L @ Lonertool: Everything is up in the air until we have definitive proof of C let not put that energy in the air! let all just do our part and chill out. Things will settle eventually RESPECT to everyone here of course the important thing is to make sure we all practice great OPSEC and support each other in this time.
  14. Wicked @ Wicked: Monero isn’t a bad idea imo. I’ve asked a few times to use it and been denied actually
  15. M @ Mammasboi123: There’s been some rule
  16. P @ ProtekPhilipe: Should vendors here start prioritizing monero for payment? And maybe show site links for sponsored member threads only. It's a tiny defense, but any way to stay lower key would help right now
  17. etizoman @ etizoman: God fucking dann. Just read the article. Definitely RIP to their normal lives ever again. Both C and R were Amazing people and have provided a lot of great times and some personal wisdom thru their products. And what @Wicked said, its true, man. Sucks you gotta kinda be paranoid when you reach a certain level of status....
  18. Wicked @ Wicked: I agree, it’s unfortunate and a loss for many of us, you’re right R was one of the best. Hopefully it serves as a reminder to others to always stay on top of things. I’m sure it’s easy to get comfortable and feel unstoppable when you reach a certain level as an author
  19. ms3031 @ ms3031: Its unfortunate for everyone but tbh, as with most things illegal, they eventually fall either by their own hand or LE, there are some rare success people but whose to say who is working with authorities and who is not. In fact thjs entire forum creates an easy access to the people they want just a much as we want them. Nothing can be done for those who fly too close to the sun.
