New old member, trying to find relief

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on this forum, i had been on the old one.

I suffer from chronic pain from inflammatory arthritis that the doctors seem to think is related to liver damage. I used ti have hepatitus c but have since been cured since harvoni was released.

Unfortunately im having trouble finding a doctor who is willing to treat my pain adequately because of the history of HCV.

Anyways, i just wanted to say hello and share my story. Look forward to talking to everyone here.

 
Welcome. That sounds like a tough situation. Doctors seem to love to have a good reason not to treat appropriately. I hate to see you going through this. It's not fair. What are your options? Can you self medicate? Can other treatments help? 

I've recently become a big fan of kratom for pain. It's a leaf and it works. I also get massages, acupuncture, musculoskeletal therapy, daily hot tub soaks, and anything else that I can do for myself.

Good luck and I hope you find the right treatment for you. There are some good folks here who can help. If I can answer a question or help you figure something out, let me know.
