New-post notification not crackalackin' like before?

* Oh looky there, I have notification of a new post to read.

* CLICK!*

* Takes me to top post of thread, then just sits there, MOCKING ME with an old post I've already read a bazillion times because it keeps doing this repeatedly with each new post.  And sometimes I'd swear there are notifications when there are NO new posts to read.

* Former function used to be *CLICK!* on notification of new post, then it'd pull up that thread and actually scroll down to the new post.  Handy-dandy!

* No, I have not yet noted which notifications to which threads are affected.

* Anyone else noticed this or am I just halluskinating again.

 
It's affecting one ofvthe US vendor threads in particular I've noticed.
