Joshua Cerwin is a real piece of work. I found all sorts of good reviews but I was overly optimistic. If I had only typed scam after the email address I wouldnt have lost 260 bucks. ouch. It makes me sick just thinking about it. I got a bunch of quotes, lots of emails back and forth, made payment, bam no more contact.

 
Try using bing next time, if the word scam is included in similar searches it will show up in "Related Searches". At least that's my experience.

Well, sometimes it does anyway. Open mouth and insert foot in this one. I'm used to looking up computer scams like rogue anti-viruses and it works well in those cases. I suppose it would be a good idea to to do as much research as possible, including looking for others scammed by those you hope to do business with.

A couple I've been burned by are privatedrugsupply@doctor.com and interchemist@gmail.com

Both "suppliers" who contacted me after searching for stuff on TradeKey.

yea Ive almost pulled the trigger with a couple tradekey members with over 4000 trust points, but I just had a bad feeling about it so I went with my gut. But as far as being scammed, I guess its just part of the game, but it just sucks. The only thing we can do is, as you stated, research as much as possible which means which means were counting on people posting about being scammed. I know some people dont want to admit when they've been scammed because its embarrassing but our "community" depends on it. Thats why I dont have a problem swallowing my pride and spreading the word
