So, I received some of these for the first time ever this morning. Has anyone else here had experience with them? A few things I've noticed and I wanted to see if anyone here can confirm. The pills themselves are pretty thick. Quite a bit thinker than an OP80.

Also, they don't gum up near as much as the OPs do. The inside is more powdery. Based on what I've read online, the name brand adopted the same kind of tamper resistent formula as OP, but when the generics came out, people were thrilled because, like I've mentioned, though they still gum up a little, it's nothing like with the OPs. However, I've not been that thrilled with level of relief I've gotten. But they may be the result of the very high expectations I had and perhaps I just need to expermiment with them a bit more. I was definitely thrown off when I used a pill cutter to split one and saw that the inside was a little bit crumbly.

Btw, I did apply the Marquis test, and though I couldn't find a chart for oxymorphone resutls, the results came back very close to Oxycodone and within similar to the general opiate range for morphine, opium, etc.

Anyhow, any feedback would be much appreciated.

I haven't  tried Opana before, but I know they sell them down in mexi-town...The ones I've seen are the "Stop" sign shaped variety...Apparently, if you shoot them up, they are stronger and more potent, than any Ox or even H...However, since I don't shoot anything besides firearms, I don't have much advice to offer. Apparently, if you just take them orally, they are a completely different high...

Yeah, these aren't the stop sign shaped ones. I think those were the brand name ones before the tamper resistant formula came out. But like you, I don't IV. Just oral for me. (That's thst she...)

I take the brand name from pharmacy. Its a very old pk so the pharmacy has to order them and it takes 1 to 2 weeks. My dumb dr doesn't seem to get that so half the time im out and waiting. Anyway mine are completely impossible to break unless you get th hat coating off first. Which ive heard taking a wet paper towel to it will work. Haven't tried but the relief is kinda weird. In my experience you have to follow it up w a fast acting pk. The op is very slow release and its supposed to carry you for 12 hrs and it actually will if u take it as prescribed and take your norcs in between for breakthrough pain. If I don't have norcs and I do have my opas ill take 2 at a time twice a day and can get through fairly well that way.

What strength? I do have Norcos too.

Do yours not look like the ones on the link? Orange pills with an imprint of G74? I guess I expected the time release function to work the same as OPs, but the inside is far less chewy and more powdery than OPs, though it does gum up a little bit with moisture.

I takd 10 mg. Mine are peach with an e on one side and 10 on the other. Theyre rnd.yeah its supposed to gum alot as far I thought I saw when I researched it. I

I wish i could find a doc that prescribes these,, i need a new doc anyways but im scared to ask on first appointment had my arm and leg amputated this year and in a lot of pain i wish i could fine these or a doc who will prescribe them in nj , especially the IR oxymorphones omg i miss those so much i would pay double the street price if i could actually get those legit, wish someone on here had these actually legit ones..

Does anyone else get these prescribed and have a hard time getting them filled? Oxycontin and morphine affect be badly so the opana has been the only long acting med that doesn't have gnarly side effects but half the time the pharmacy says theyre on back order and the other half when they order them it takes 2 weeks to get. This time, I switched my ins company w covered ca and the new one wants a dr pre auth and he's sitting on it so by the time he sends it and they order it, ima be a month out.my norcs just aren't enough for the kind of pain I go through. Its driving me freakn crazy.

I know this thread is several months old but I also have some of these G74s and know that 40mg would be too much for my tolerance level. Can I simply cut these into quarters and have good results or would that screw up the ER factor? These are not the same formulation as the 0p@n@ 40 ER as these are the generics that Endo went to court to try and block, but they lost the case.

I can handle 30mg Rocks fine, maybe 40 but that would be the limit before it's too much. Anyone know a comparable dose with these gee 7ty fours?

I cut then in half and it doesn't seem to defeat the time release. These always seem pretty strong to me because I only take them on rare occasions. It's nice to have one med my body isn't used to.

Excellent. I was hoping to hear from someone whose word was based on experience. Thanks.

@ way2old4this I will be interested in hearing your opinion too.

Anyone had any luck getting these into powder?  Is it possible to get the coating off?

I haven't done it but various searches on the interweb found some results.

In fact I haven't even tried mine yet but was thinking I might tomorrow but it will just be oral. I know they have poor bioavailability orally but that is what they are designed for and they are still twice as strong as rocks so that will be my first roa.

Thought about it for a minute - I don't think these G74s have a problem with just crushing them - the Endo 0p@n@ does but not these generics. But that's just for insufflation. If your considering another roa, I don't have an answer as I think these will still gel up.

That's what I  was looking for.  Thanks a bunch

If anybody ever has ANY questions about these, please feel free to hit me up.  I'm more than willing to tell you pretty much anything you need or want to know about either of the generic panda brands ~~> Impax/Global = the G's OR Activas = half moons -(which are soon to be pulled from distribution due to a recent litigation defeat in a court case against Endo).

I can be the DBG's resident panda/xymrphne expert, if you will...

You can't shoot the ER Opanas only the IRs. I don't know if IRs are available anymore but I was able to get a few of them about 5 or 6 years ago from a friend. He had degenerative disc disease so he always had some kind of pks prescribed. His doctors gave him a script for Opana 5mg IR when it first came out. They were small blue pills that kind of looked like the 10mg Adderalls. I remember taking them orally and not feeling anything, then I tried to snort them and still didn't feel anything. Finally I IVd 10mgs of that stuff and whoa that was the most powerful buzz I've ever got next to possibly the feeling I got when MDMA was around. I think they may have been stronger than H because my brother who helped me shoot them up, was using H at that point and he shot some up too and said they felt stronger than H. The buzz seemed to start out at it's peak and then gradually mellow out over 5 or 6 hours. The problem though is tolerance builds very fast and if you aren't into IVing it's not really that easy. I never IVd anything up to that point and wouldn't have done it then, except my brother was there and he knew how to do it. He wanted to start out with 15mgs or 3 pills, but I told him to just stick to two, i think that was a good thing because 15mgs may have been too much to handle. The 10mg  shot gave me an intense feeling like brain freeze right after it was plunged in. I felt like if it was any stronger I probably would of died or at least passed out. Not long after that my friend no longer was getting the scripts for the IRs and only ERs became available. I've read some people try to fix the ER pill so it's possible to IV but I don't know if that is possible. It's the same thing with people who try to shoot OxyContin ERs. It doesn't work. I've taken Opana ER 20mg or 40 mg (dont't remember which) orally and I don't recall feeling that great for it. I wouldn't recommend IVing anyhing, I sopped after that one experience with the Opana IR. Even though the experience was good, the stigma with being an IV drug user is too much for me. You can't hide needle marks in the summer time. My family would have flipped out if they knew I did that.

  5. xenxra @ xenxra: @Poppycock i can't recall if this popped up when I did my order however it's letting me bypass that section of checkout by just toggling "None" on the 3 marked checkboxes. Worst case scenario they just refund you after checkout. I would just try that if you really need it for medical purposes. My gut is telling me this is what I had to do but like I said, i can't recall 100%
  6. T @ timyboy: Fax?? geeesh are they still living in the 80s there
  7. P @ Poppycock: @xenxra thanks but when I get to the checkout section there’s a “medical history” section and there’s a line that says “fax or email your prescription to us”. Are they just putting that there to protect themselves? Or have their changed to now require prescription?
