Why people being so illogical about ICE? They're going after illegal immigrants. Does the left honestly want completely open borders?

You realise the few "show me your papers" videos are them looking for an ILLEGAL immigrant that looks extremely similar to that person. Just like cops looking for a suspect and stopping someone that looks similar. The argument falls apart fairly quickly but you've gotta do more than scratch the surface. If you've done nothing wrong, then you're gonna be fine. Whilst you guys are literally assaulting people on the streets cause you think they're ICE? Or they're wearing something with an American flag?
I'm a gay centrist guy and I'll never let political bias influence my arguments. I don't like being in echo chambers eg reason for this post
Btw Renee Good is a whole other can of worms. He shouldn't have shot but it's such a small amount of time to make a decision and he shouldn't have been put in that position. We'll never know her true intentions but the wheels did spin hard. The officer had trauma from being dragged by a car previously and shouldn't have been on duty. Renee Good shouldn't of been there either

I don’t hate my country but I hate what my country is and has been doing since that dangerous, destructive, selfish, insecure knob, and his administration of cartoon characters came into the WH. I also think we can’t be judged by our worst specimens.

I lean pretty far left. But that doesn’t mean I fit the exact stereotypical mold, as I do agree “we” can come across all knowing, snobbish, condescending, etc. and it turns people off.

But I am against ICE 10000%. And none of this is politics. These are human values and reflects the moral composition of our character. What we as the US do affects the whole world, and our leadership is unprecedented in US modern history for being a universal joke, a bully, irresponsible, egotistical, and unqualified.

Congrats to anyone who was trying to rage bait. It worked. But that’s all I have to say.

AS ICE are arresting illegal immigrants. Cut the BS and break it down. No country in the world could operate with open borders. An ICE agent literally would down his window and told protesters "We're trying to arrest a pedophile". The protesters didn't miss a beat and kept on screaming at him. That's absolute insanity

Cut the BS and break it down. ICE are arresting ILLEGAL immigrants. No country on earth could exist with open borders. Western nations already take on huge amounts of immigrants and refugees. It's not all daffodils and rainbows. Bad people exist and take advantage of good people. It's like the TEAM AMERICA talk on pussies, dicks and arseholes.
Have you seen the video of the ICE agent explaining they're trying to arrest a gang member who's a pedophile? The protesters didn't miss a beat and kept on screaming. It's insanity
The left are trying to frame ICE as the gestapo. They simply don't understand WW2. They wouldn't exist if ICE were 1/10th of the gestapo. Framing ICE as the gestapo is actually extremely disappointing and makes me lose hope in humanity. Cause it's being dishonest and deceptive
You say the world sees the US as a bully but that's simply not true. I've travelled and most places except Europe, Australia and the US are fairly conservative. Africa, Middle East, South East Asia, Japan, Russia etc don't have immigration and you'd be shocked by the values and customs. The US isn't really discussed. Only Western nations care
You need to get out of the echo chamber. Don't align yourself with a side. Go deep into your thoughts and beliefs. Are you being truthful and logical!? Just look at some of the comments on here. It's as though these people have never heard push back on this subject. You'd be amazed at some of my beliefs that would be classified as "far left". Fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion. I find reddit a waste of time due to the echo chamber effect. YouTube and Instagram aren't bad though
Although I will say that I bet your ancestors entered the country through legal avenues. Illegally entering a country means you've either outstayed your visa or crossed the border illegally. The problem is they're either not paying tax through cash in hand work or making money through criminal means. A lot of people enter illegally due to having criminal backgrounds. They literally can't enter legally. Can't you see the problem with that? Open borders means the government have no way in monitoring people within the country. Anyone could enter your country. Why would you need to warn your neighbours. What did they do wrong? I just find it insane that people break laws and expect to not suffer consequences. Then to make it worse, you have people following around ICE not knowing who they're arresting and screaming at ICE like they're doing something wrong? Every government has done this?? Why's it now a huge issue and everyone's treating it like it's WW2 again
