To make this VERY clear, @PHX is NOT on the Blacklist! He is a vendor in excellent standing! We leave threads that draw so much attention and interest, and the thread starter chose the Blacklist. PHX is good!
Thanks for making that point clear,
@Gracie5! I can see why this thread’s placement and the contents there within would be confusing to newer members of the forum.
I will preface this post by saying that, up to this point, I have yet to be shown any definitive proof regarding the claims made by certain individuals and whether or not PHX is currently, or was at any point in the past, scamming or physically threatening harm upon members due to bad blood between parties. This goes for both this thread or elsewhere within dbg. This is not to say that
If there’s new information brought to light that proves otherwise, I would of course take all points into consideration and revoke my comments made here. However from my interactions with P,I’ve never experienced anything but great customer service and integrity from
@PHXINC throughout the numerous occasions I’ve done business with them thus far.
I understand that for some personal and for some other reasons, a few members in this thread have had what've been described as ranging from ‘unprofessional’ to straight up ‘scam’ interactions/business dealings with PHX. However, I also believe that it’s of the upmost importance for anyone that’s come forth with accusations about PHX on serious matters such as ‘scamming’ or ‘threatening remarks’ to update this thread in order to either do one of the following:
- either clear the record in cases where PHX did indeed come through on his end of the bargain
- or to make it clear that the larger issue is still outstanding, and add any follow-up as seen fit regarding the status of their current situation. If this is still the case for some (which I would be surprised to hear it was), it would likely go a lot further to provide any necessary documentation to either @Admin or @Gracie5 for the ‘record books’ and to ensure things get squared away in a timely manner.
What I’ve been seeing as of late is that what started as a set of very serious complaints against P (I.e. ‘scamming/withholding items/threats’), have shifted in tone towards more personal grievances, or dissatisfaction at the way a situation was handled or how P decides to run his business. In the past 2-3 pages, no further details have been provided by the users that levied the original fraud/scams accusations against PHX.
It should go without saying, but labeling a vendor as a scammer is a bold move, and far from the same level of severity compared to being blacklisted from a thread due to whatever reason a vendor decides, for example. The two encompass two distinctly different categories that, in my personal opinion, need to be separated and addressed based on which of the situations could hold real and immediate consequences to the community at large, vs an interpersonal dispute that may elicit a mention during a review of a vendor on their designated thread. The latter situation may not impact many members decision on whether or not to do business with the vendor in the future, while the first category could result in real consequences to not just users who proceed , but to that vendor’s overall reputation whether or not the original complaint was valid or not, vs an unintentional mistake, vs gross negligence. These are all scenarios in which informing the community as a whole on the outcome becomes increasingly important.
I should be clear that my goal in making the following post is not to agree or disagree with any one person’s point of view, personal sentiment/feelings towards any member or vendor, nor to get involved in any ongoing issues/drama between parties. Instead my goal is to be a voice of reason to either members or vendors who may come across this post. No one individual here at DBG acts as the judge and jury for the community as a whole. The jury is a juxtaposed position that’s both a shared responsibility amongst all members who are Paying customers when we write reviews , and share both positive and negative l experiences with one another, as well as an independent position that’s based on our own personal beliefs and experiences that impact who we decide to work with or who we choose not to work with. The second role of judge belongs to DBG administrators and moderators (
@Admin and
@Gracie5), who can rule on punishments based on what we the jury have determined to be true in a court of public opinion and common interests. When an accusation with the severity of “Scammer”, for example gets leveled against a vendor, there lies a certain level of onus on the persons making the claims that they provide proof to substantiate their assertion. At the end of the day, all we have together as a community here on DBG is trust in one another. Trust that when a member says something, that it was true and if it tuned out to be a misunderstanding, that they would come forward to make it known for the overall good of the forum’s integrity.
