Thanks for the tip. It's a good reminder for people to check with others here before jumping on what looks to be a good thing. Not having heard of them, if you don't mind me asking, what were they peddling and what made it too good to resist. I know I could check it myself, I'm just wondering about it from your perspective.

So, I'm just curious here.  Do you really put links to such websites on Facebook?

I'd be far too paranoid to ever, ever do that - but to each their own.  In fact, I share my experiences with this stuff with members of this Board *only* and it took me years to get up the nerve to post, lol.  Of course, the quality of people and conversation on here helped with the decision to start posting as well...

I'm in no way putting you down, please understand that.  I just would think twice before making myself so publicly known as associating with such websites; even if it is with a "bad publicity" caveat.

Peace!

Tri

Tri no need to apologize for your opinions or for objective suggestions. We probably need more of that around here especially of all of the emotional post lately. You postings are always non offensive and well thought out. Keep 'em coming.

Must be caps lock Thursday.

I had the same thought as you about posting on FB. I don't have a "real" FB account, just one I made to be able to see some others pages. I did discover if you put crazy stuff in the "about you" part, when you begin an account, you can become able to see some very interesting stuff. All it took for me was going to "school of hard knocks" and majoring in sex. Apparently that opens doors to stuff I didn't even know was allowed to be on there. Def not "family friendly" material.

Maybe theres a similar thing with a somewhat "underground drug section". Perhaps someone more familiar with posting on the subject can enlighten us.

  14. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  15. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend
  16. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Sweet Ol' Me asked about Real ID, Stoup. Are you responsive to emails ? LMAO

  18. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda You win. I am lost. Thought you were surprised your license was a Real ID, now you say you provided those items.
  19. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  20. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
