Emails going through sometimes and sometimes Not I talked to him last night

Then after we talked I got that message failure notice but already contacted me back .....IDK Didn't do anything yet vitamin wise.....tks PK

These days he really doesn't respond at all, (after an order). Not that I need a story, but I used to get a small acknowlegement, such as "got it" or SOME thing. Anyway I'm just chillin and waitin.  So far he has been 100% so I have no reason to think any differently this time.  If past history is correct I should see something right about Wed.  If not by Thur. then supm kinna funny...I like to know when it's coming so I can watch him drop it from the c-130....oh, oops, we're not supposed to discuss shipping methods. Well shit, if y'all can catch that c-130 then you've really done something ;-)  OH, but seriously, is he still using the same plane or did he go to a helicopter?  You get what I'm sayin right?

Haha.. Do you usually spring for the express priority I'm guessing?  Has anyone ever used his cheaper/slower regular mail service?  Thanks..

I think that's the problem.  His C-130 just isn't fast enough to beat the F-16's LE is using now to catch these guys now.   Oh, shoot.  I wasn't supposed to talk about that stuff.

Hey now, there's a serious business opportunity! I have a client with an aircraft collection, and he has a decommissioned / disarmed but fully airworthy MiG-29. That'll out run an F-16 all day every day. Jewy's Super Sonic Pharma-Courier. When you hear the sonic boom, just go outside and look for the parachute with your pack attached. A little expensive? Sure, but how much is certainty of delivery worth?

Good point brother but never forget.... slow and steady wins the race. Let that sweet ass F-16 follow his C-130 into the center of one of our hurricanes. Pieces of jet fighter for sale on ebay :-)

That could be. I've never seen one in airworthy condition in the US. My client maintains his collection in the EU.

 
Made small $200 order today. Recd prompt confirmation and that order would move tomorrow via

I always get nervous with this guy, make an order, radio silence, (but I've taken heed to his comforting words), "have some fuckin patience and chill a little, I'm not here to fuck anybody"...

Ahh music to my ears, we speak the same fuckin language sometimes ;-)

Anyway the delivery is always there, on time, sometimes with a little extra thank you thrown in.

Counting todays, I've lost count at this point, maybe 7/7?  I can easily rate Ploop is a solid 8-9 even with exremely minimal comm.

That C-130 is runnin just fine!

Yep Ploop can get a little emotional sometimes, I made a order a few days ago but hes out of addys right now /default_sad.png

 
Placed a small test order with Ploop today. Will let everyone know how it goes. I ordered express so hopefully I will receive tomorrow. I haven't heard anything back yet. Hoping to get confirmation soon!

He rarely ships same day just to let you know, but maybe you got lucky!!

 
Does he ship for Saturday delivery?
I can't speak with certainty, but I don't recall him offering UPS or FedEx shipping options, which would be required for Saturday delivery guarantees. Worth an email to see if he would accommodate you.

Yes, he certainly does, although I can't criticize him for that. Necessary communications, sure, but I used to explain it to clients who called me or emailed me 3 or 4 times a day for "handholding" purposes this way. If at any given time , I'm working with, say 10 clients on various transactions, and each of them consumed 15 minutes of my time each day with otherwise unnecessary communication, that pencils out to 2.5 hours a day of lost, unproductive time, or a little over 25% of the work day. The end result is that it takes that much longer to serve the clients' needs and complete their transactions. It really adds up quickly, and most don't realize the impact it has on efficiency.

I'm not drawing parallels between finance and vendor business here on DBG, but the same principle applies. Keep communications brief, efficient and too the point, and avoid repetitive inquiries that have been previously asked and answered, and more often than not, you'll achieve the desired results far more quickly.

  9. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
