Poppy seeds?

I think asking about pods would be too optimistic. Anyone want to share where I can look?

Eastern/Southeastern Asia 💯

I’m sure you’ll be able find a legit, honest individual from that side of the world — somewhere via the interwebs.

I live in a tiny, suburban town with 1000s of Afghans. Also, 1hr away, there’s another tiny town with 1000s of Afghans.
I’m sure if my life depended on it, I would be able to find me some seeds through one of these brotherly folks (Because they can have family members back home, simply, mail those seeds straight to the state$$$ — directly from the motherland, itself!)

** Just my thoughts, suggestions, and imagination. I’m not condoning any of these experiments

I am looking for quality poppy seeds too. Anyone know of any good quality vendors?

I haven't baked with seeds since 2022 so I'm of no help on current quality. One of the most reviewed vendors in the US List offers them I believe. The vendor that enjoys Layne Staley (pfp). There's also The General Seeds which I believe sell good UK, though I haven't purchased myself. I remember heartyhills having spotty reviews on their last site but I think it had more to do with the shift in seasonal quality and seemingly ever decline of quality raw poppy seeds available more so than scamming/theft. I miss the FTL/SN amazon days...

I agree with @WTF7218 and have personally baked with Uk Poppy Seeds Aka Summer Seed Baking many times. The Maroon is the best.

But just a bit of advice, start slow and small doses, it creeps up for hours. Personally, I loved it, but your body will become physically add1ct3d much quicker than anything else because this is the raw alkaloids. The thebaine alkaloid will also block any other goods from reaching your receptors rendering b3nz0 and other 0p1o1ds completed ineffective.

I used it for about a month, then It was like my body just said nope and I had to stop immediately. Severe allergic reaction and i still dont know why, but just be cautious.

Who is this cnc I keep seeing mentioned?
A popular vendor here. You won't gain access to his info on DBG without sponsoring the forum. He is also a multi-market vendor on the DN.

For anyone else who hasn't donated to DBG, you won't gain access to some of the most reputable vendors' information without becoming a sponsor, finding them on the onions (if they are active there), or coming across their contact in the wild through a group or mutual.

Just want to clear up some things about thebaine. It does not block other 0p101ds. You might be experiencing diminished effects because you're already on another 0p101d. This phenomenon is more about tolerance than blocking.

It definitely doesn't block bЭnz0diДzЭpinЭs because they bind to different receptors. BЭnz0diДzЭpinЭs work on GДBД receptors, while thЭbДine interacts with 0p101d receptors. Different classes. There's no interaction there. No merging. They stay in their own lanes.

Thebaine is an 0p101d, but it’s considered a weak one. The idea that it leads to faster addiction than other similar (and/or sronger) alkaloids isn’t really backed by science. At the end of the day, everyone reacts differently, and everyone's metabolism is different.

I would normally totally agree with you having had experience with pretty much every <|rug, especially before the whole tightening on $cripts thing started years back (of which I had a heavy cocktail of $cr1pts) and now nobody can get relief from any d0c. But for whatever reason, in MY experience it blocked everything. For me personally, it was stronger than sub0x0n€. I assumed it was the thebaine, maybe it was something else… I mean there’s a lot more in the raw product than just what’s most known. Also, yes I understand how the receptors work, possibly it was a combination of things, and everyone is different. Not speaking for anyone else, but it took about a week of WD before anything I read would have any effect or relief. I’m probably wrong, maybe, I guess, just stating my own personal experience.

I appreciate your perspective, and your experience is totally valid. I didn’t mean to come off as if I was invalidating you. There’s definitely a lot more in the raw poppy material than just thebaine, but I was focusing on thebaine’s effects specifically.

I agree that it was likely a mix of factors at play. The other alkaloids will definitely influence how someone feels. Some of these alkaloids might compete for binding at 0p101d receptors, but none should target G@BA receptors. There’s no direct 'blocking' mechanism from the compounds in poppy seeds (that I'm aware of), but sometimes user experiences don’t line up with available data.

I was already on mЭth@d0ne when I experimented with seeds. I was on a pretty low dose of 'd0ne at that time, but unfortunately, I didn’t feel much of anything. That definitely was a tolerance issue, though.

& yeah, it’s frustrating how many people who are genuinely suffering aren’t getting the medication they need, or are treated like they’re dГugs seeking when they’re genuinely just looking for some relief. So many patients in pain management have to deal with that stigma and skepticism from healthcare providers, and when you’re in MAT, it can feel almost impossible to find a doc who doesn’t treat you like you’re a degenerate dГug-seeking @ddict.

Thank you for your understanding response, and no offense taken. I can't explain it, it was truly a very strange experience. Honestly, your information is absolutely justified and based on science.
You're totally right it is frustrating. The only reason I even found out about tea is because my doc was threatening to take me off of my 0.5mg l0r@zepAm ( the only n@rc i take currently with everything else going in being OTC) after years of being on it for social anxiety. That led me to a forum which led me to here and I'm wayyy thankful for that. But of course, I was REALLY curious about tea and did try it with alot of success, but it isnt for everyone and precautions should be taken.

Not only that, is it just me or does anyone else think it is crazy expensive? I was clearing 6lbs in 3 days like it was nothing. That was 274 shipping included.
