The contents of private / password-only threads show up under search when a search is made by someone not in the club. My search for "Freeman" showed content from yesterday in that sub even though I don't have the password.
 
Because you are donating sponsors you have access to those threads.
Non-donating members don't. If you can see the posts through search function implies you have logged in at some point with the PW and the PW is saved. Otherwise won't show up, same for member's posts.
