Quick n' dirty on turning cash to BTC

It's getting easier and easier. You can even use Paypal to purchase btc now. No need to use a sketchy atm or something unheard of.

Can you point me in the direction of the atms? Is there a company name for the? A list of ones that are secure or better?

Doesn't really fulfill the "Cash" part... sure you can deposit cash in your bank, but a couple grand at a time looks a bit sketch...

Nitpick much? Fine, "Turning money that's in your bank that could also be cash if you wanted it to be, but you don't, you want it to be BTC so you can buy some magazines - a quick guide." Better title?

What was the point of that? At least one if not two people found it useful and you wanted to come on here and just piss in our Wheaties? Cash means money in this context, most obviously as seen in previous replies where nobody else is confused.

Also, I'd bet my left arm that the majority of folks on this forum aren't tossing around that much actual cash at product from many of these vendors. Too high risk. Unless you're in the business of reselling magazines...then, that's on you to find a less "degen" way of doing it.

"Forums....forums never change."

AFAIK, Bitcoin ATMs were a thing years back. Maybe more common in some areas, but don't buy BTC from them. Like all ATMs, they have cameras and you're inserting a debit card into it, ostensibly. Couldn't be a more obvious paper trail. With apps, there are barriers for those that might come sniffing around. Which is why you should never hold onto a wallet for long either, IMO.

Seriously appreciate the info. I'm new here and really looking forward to placing some subscriptions but banks been refusing transfers to any major crypto sites and apps. This method is already moving faster than the 4 other routes I've attempted, hopefully I'll be set later today.

I'm glad you find it helpful. And others as well. This has continually worked well for me. I might update it (if I recall the login for that page) with some additional tips at the bottom and will update this thread if I do.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment!

EDIT: One such tip would be to really emphasize using a Debit Card, not a bank account. I saw some dude use his bank account and he complained that it didn't allow quick transactions and such. Ya know, because a bank transfer usually takes a few days. Debit is instant. Perhaps a bit of tasteful bolding 😁, cheers.

I don't understand how pastebin helps a person turns cash into bitcoin? Could you explain?

ATTN: I have an addendum I feel might be quite useful so since I didn't password protect the pastebin I originally made, I am going to make a new post.

@Admin Please feel free to delete this one as I will be including the original info and the addendum in a new post. Thank you.

Thanks for the write up! Will sure help members new to crypto.

  18. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  19. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  20. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.
