Re-introducing myself

Hi all,

I've sort of been dancing around what to say and how to say it - especially having read the recent novella re. one Scott Patrick, aka Jewy, Mr. Brownstone, ad nauseum.  I've been around for several years and was actively engaged in this board and made a lot of great relationships with people.  I also fell victim to a few scammers out there along the way and was hurt pretty bad by it all -- in the pocketbook and in areas of trust.  More on that.

First let me start by saying what an invaluable board this has been and will continue to be.  It's amazing what has been accomplished and who knows how many lives were saved, dollars were spared, etc. by like-minded people coming together and basically watching one another's backs.  When I jumped on board Jewy, Heisenberg, the other Scott, etc. were very active and seemed to take a leadership role on the board.  I came to know these folks - or that I had - and found numerous beneficial resources for attempting to mitigate a back surgery, a shoulder surgery, a fused neck, and four chest wall surgeries brought on by a congenital defect and exacerbated by a doctor committing malpractice.  At this time I was also developing a big-time habit for said PK meds.  Big-time.

Therefore I ordered what I thought I needed but also made some decisions because my need to score overrode my basic instincts and common sense.  I was hammered in the whole Hydreauxman episode.  He came through for me at least a dozen times; hell I enjoyed talking to him when I wasn't obtaining.  Then I went big on an order I should have known better to have placed - it was too good to be true, right?  He ran an old school con job and a smash and grab and dove right in head first.  Then I'm ashamed to say I bought what Jewbacca was selling hook, line, and sinker.  I stayed active here but also followed him to SIOP.  There I started seeing things - treatment of people that I'd noticed here but continued even worse over there.  I lost to the Paris Pain Clinic (remember them?), and was a very avid user of Midtown.  I love how nice the gals were over there - time and time again I ignored what my instincts were telling me!

The SIOP started to unravel, the lies were just too huge to ignore, and one day I just stopped.  It was no one thing but it was mostly to do with and around our beloved Jewy.  I just stopped participating, mostly stopped supplementing what I was already received locally, and stopped with the money just being thrown away.  But just a few days ago I decided to peek around and I smiled when I see some of the old souls who are still here - Cat, YellowBelly, HeadBanger, BIsko, RDKdanny, 2 earls.  Please don't be offended if I didn't include you in the list, my memory is not so great these days!  And I see PharmaPro - different handle but same old words, lies, and bullshit.  It's amazing what we see when our eyes are open!

Through it all I've learned a lot about trust, what to look for, the art of the con game, the need for me to take better care of myself and treat the pain, not feed the demon.  Remember how so many of us survived the SY crash around Christmas a couple of years ago?  I found a very reliable vendor in its aftermath.  Most of all I found a bunch of people here who I have the utmost respect for, and I didn't realize I missed hanging with you guys and gals.  With the terrible state of affairs in medical communities outrageous behavior around pulling back opiate prescription along with any common sense around it, it seems like we need each other now more than ever.  Through it all thank you all for being here - it's truly great to see so many of you still here and I look forward to reconnecting with old friends while making new ones.  Thanks for keeping my seat warm! :)

Welcome back, whatever your handle used to be. I feel like all those painful and unfortunate days are well behind us.

There are hardly any members who even remember the gang of thieves and that's the way we like it . Low drama and just helpful and useful information for those who need it.

The only people who should be ashamed are the ones who took advantage of the trust others put in them, not their victims.

  1. Strawhat7 @ Strawhat7: Yo, whatever happened to Mr. Black? Just got a rando email from him after ghosting me like a year and a half ago
  2. LW815 @ LW815: Know what’s really going on in somebody else’s head or how much they’re really dealing with and feel like they’re left with no other options. Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
  3. LW815 @ LW815: Was nodding in/out the entire time writing those shouts and spparently was fully out sending the last one lol. But II find it ‘uplifting’ as two people I’ve never actually met and only know the others online presence through subscriptions, who I have a better chance of getting a handy J from Jesus Christ himself, both were so quick to share their own experience and wise words and assurances that things will look up and not to feel guilty or be mad at somebody for going that route - as you never
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: @hotdog45 meh, same difference. they both got blacklisted on here. wouldn't be the first time a rogue shop sent out unsolicited comms after the fact.
  5. MOD @ MOD: Hello @everyone
  6. LW815 @ LW815: Own personal experience with this kind of this type kind of situation and sympathized with my pain when I really just needed somebody to talk to. Both went out of their way to help a stranger in a time of need when I really needed somebody, and body to talk to. MM
  7. LW815 @ LW815: Sent a simple conf email and I just dropped a ball on them. I really just needed to let it out, didn’t expect them to reply in such a thoughtful way that it drastically changed the rest of my day and mindset for the bette . Above and beyond - and the last night while chatting with another that I knew had at least once one child,, so i wished them a belated happy Father’s Day, which again caused me to spill it all to them and again received the most thoughtful and kind response, as well as their-
  8. LW815 @ LW815: They didn’t need to. They could have just continued on with the nature or the main purpose of what the relationship between us is, I didn’t really have anybody else to let it out to at the time and they both went far beyond what I’d expect. Not that I’d assumed they’re cold/A-holes - it was just a lot from somebody who’s technically a competent stranger. A very close friend of mine committed suicide on Father’s Day and iwas emotionally wrecked witih nobody to talk to, and the first author just
  9. LW815 @ LW815: @Mokachin0 not really uplifting in the normal sense, but two popular authors on here took the time out of their likely very busy days to not only read my massive walls of text, but both also replied with the most kind, thoughtful and positive responses when I randomly dumped my personal problems into their laps
  10. H @ hotdog45: I have never ordered mags from him I meant
  11. H @ hotdog45: @xenxra I thought that too but after digging on the site it is chemical cabinet. Either way I deleted the email. I have ordered mags from him, but I thought you guys should know he's reaching out to people again. After reading the thread if anyone gets an email from him I would suggest doing the same.
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: @hotdog45 isn't that ghost? he threw his rep in the trash and got blacklisted
  13. O @ oh be g: thank you! hopefully this will inpsirw someone!
  14. M @ Mokachin0: @oh be g check your dms!
  15. O @ oh be g: these were instilled in me by a coworker who has had about the worst trauma experiences in life and he is still the most positive upbeat guy ive met
  16. O @ oh be g: btw these are actual good practices and help greatly if u form as a habit
  17. H @ hotdog45: Anyone else get an email from schedwick666 I haven't opened it. I remember he was on here but I cannot recall what happened
  18. O @ oh be g: and always remember to use any .... whateere it mayy be safely ad rememeber those who have passed. keep safe in their honor
  19. O @ oh be g: ill play! wake up every morning knowing its a gift to wake up!
