Here’s the thing. There’s a lot of people on MAT drugs for addiction, or pain management, injuries and other reasons. Typically that prescribing doctor will not prescribe bZd’s. And if you go the psychiatrist route, the first thing they will see on the nation wide controlled substance database is that you are taking a controlled substance. Then they will scold you and tell you to fuck right off.
My friend got to the point that he was tapering his MAT and having anxiety issues. He got the doc to prescribe bZd. It’s not enough and it’s not helping considering his horrible injuries he’s sustained which lead to the meds. He has to take a max panel temperature controlled (90’-100’ F or it’s considered failed) UA that gets sent in to the lab for Mass Spec. Seems undefeatable if he’s only looking for a couple extra mags Rc or otherwise. Basically whatever he is prescribed has to exactly line up with the mass spec report that the MAT doc recieves. Those reports have literally everything in your body on them. PH levels, CK levels and all the metabolites
