Rox Vs. Ox Sea

I usually get R o x I e 30 and split them in half. I'm going to try an O x I e 40 for the first time. I'll be splitting it in half. What will the biggest difference be ? I'm assuming slower to kick in and last a little longer ?

I have not, but they should be exactly like the A215s, just a third of the strength. It is IR oxy, same as the 30 mg variety. I believe they also come in 15 mg and 20 mg formulations. You should be GTG. What is your concern?

I received them today and they are terrible.  Very hard to crush and hurt up the nose.  They are making "abuse-free" everything now! /default_sad.png  It is my understanding that most US pharmacy are going to start moving away from the r0xy we all know and love today and move towards these.  Similar to the whole 0C to 0P bs!  Very sad...

If they are R0ck-cees, then they should be IR and not have an abuse-free function.

Like MC said, if it's IR I wouldn't even mess with crushing.  This is my opinion, but I have done both ways, and just swallowed has been the best experience, hands down.

I tried the OP 40 tonight (half of it) and I don't like it as much as the R o x at all. The coating is terrible.

Let me know what you think of the Ox see 80. I will say that the OP formulation is long lasting. The onset isn't near as good as Rox see.

Honestly I do not mind waiting an hour or so, so IMO, it was great.  Really great.  Yeah didn't get the same onset, but the peak was really nice and did last a long time.

The thing I'm wondering is what I don't understand about time release.  Do larger doses simply provide the same thing over a longer period of time, or is more of it released at some point, providing better "relief"?

I haven't decided yet.  After all my tic tacs are close to gone, I was thinking I might ask if I could get some sort of deal with a mix of the 2.  Wondering if I could get any kind of break for 10 tic tacs and 5 of the big 80s  with the ugly coat..

Why do you say it can't be split? I have some 80s and I don't really want the full dose as I will be supplementing it with IR meds for breakthrough pain. Any reason why I can't just split in half with a pill cutter (it works) and take only half? I'm not looking to defeat the ER mechanism, just want to lessen the dose.

Sure it can be split. The ER mechanism is throughout the pill.
