I did not heard back from J yesterday. He knows me( or as a customer anyway) and that was a bit unusual. He could have some issue. He has always been stright with me..

 
I thought J changed his email about a month or so ago??

I Googled the email address Ezzjay gave me via PM, and it is connected to a known Topix scammer, Fleurtygirl...this isn't looking good...

Nah, just messin...I'm sorry, really I am....one more for the Topix Sux bulletin board! This being your first experience it makes it worse, because we do have rock solid vendors here! Its understandable how you wanted to do it fast, do it via phone or just not wait for the website issues to clear... but I hope your hard learned lesson can be a training guide for other folks, new to the dbg board...

Don't get in a hurry (easier said than done, I GET that), ONLY use the "contact us" on the active websites to start, and don't ever fall for anyone on Topix or here for that matter, contacting you with an easier way to contact the Mexi vendors. Unless its a longstanding dbg member - check time registered and post count - don't fall for it and get caught in someones scam!

Please do your research, read the threads, get to know the members here and if youre unsure, PM several long time members until you get a consensus on what is good, what is bad and what is just plain ugly!

And...don't under value becoming a member in good standing of this board! Talk, chat, get to know others and dont ever expect you can do otherwise and take a short cut - we're tight here for a reason: to protect ourselves and our good vendors! It takes time to get in the good graces of this board....for all the reasons above!

I hope new members read this thread. When folks ask for pm email addies this is one of the reasons we don't. See how easy it is to steal from someone. For y'all know I'm a criminal.

Worst case scenario they just refund you after checkout. I would just try that if you really need it for medical purposes. My gut is telling me this is what I had to do but like I said, i can't recall 100%
