Scam Phone Call For Computer Virus

So we kept getting a call from a Sani-Singh per our caller ID over a week.

I get many calls for work and some from Indian colleagues so being busy I defaulted to "leave a message if it's important" but they never did leave a message even after 5 calls over 4 days.

So on Thursday I was not busy and they called and I answered. An Indian sounding female said "Hello, one minute please" and I got transferred to an Indian male who started to shout at me about a computer virus that has been detected on my PC and that immediate action must take place and on and on.

I stopped him mid sentance and politely said "I think you have the wrong number, I don't own a computer" and then dead silence for like 5 seconds. Then he asked if I had a laptop and I said no. Again about five seconds of silence and he said "ok thanks" and hung up.

Too funny, poor guy didn't have a response on his script for someone without a computer /default_smile.png.

People all over have been getting weird calls. Some calls if you pick up they some how get info off your phone. Not sure how that happens. Also many are saying they are getting extreme charges to their phone once picking up.....weird

You guys might be aware of this, but your land line and cell provider have a service (online) that you can block specific numbers from EVER calling you again.  I have done that to stop some of the pesky people calling me every other hour seeing if I have changed my mind about buying something.

Yes in deed-dee.  One of our international friends is working his way there as we speak.  I have told him on three separate calls I don't know what I want to do or do anything at all.  When I figure it out I will be in touch.  He is not hearing the last part of that.

SJ - that's freaking hilarious!

Have you ever heard the telemarketer call recording with two guys who keep saying "I don't know, let me let you talk to my brother"? - it's awesome; I keep wanting to try that one.  Good for you for getting one in on 'em - fun stuff  /default_tongue.png and thanks for sharing, lol.

Tri-gal, is that the “Jerky Brothers†or “Jerky Boys Did a lot of phone prank stuff in the early to mid 1990s, some really gross (enough to trigger a gag reflex, even) but most of it hilarious...

Also, just FYI everybody—“Sergeant David Justice†purportedly of the D ee a (“Yes! The official office! In Washington D.C.!†he tells me) is manning the phones again. Tells you your name has come up as part of an on-going investigation and you are in BIG trouble...which can be resolved for a mere $500 if you want to be cooperative.

If you laugh at him, he gets very angry. Which generally makes me laugh even harder, to the point of accidentally disconnecting the call...

Shame on you Blue for disrespecting LE. /default_tongue.png

Hi Blue, no I think this is someone different.  I'll look for it...just a year or so ago I heard this.  Not in the least bit rude or anything...you just have to hear it; cracks me up everytime!

I always speak a different language  OR  I ask for sex...or both.

Is this John Smith?  Yes my name is Smith Jones Patel and I am very happy to be in america selling watered down petrol, cigarettes and pornography to minors.  Do you like porno?  I want to make sexy time, men or women is good.  Goats and cows maybe.  But never camels...

You makey sexy time with me?

In Spanish it's even worse.

Those guys get quite a few people like that. Generally works with people who still have listed home numbers. People think "They know my name and address, it must be true." That's a great response you gave and people should know that NOBODY from MS, or any virus removal company, is going to call you. EVER.

My router recently failed and I called Netgear for support. They switched me to a tech support center that tried to sell me tech support for $200. I told them it would be cheaper to replace the router. He insisted in was my network configuration and a new router would have the same problem. I told him I'd ask some professionals if they agreed and he hung up on me! It was just Netgear trying to rip me off for tech support that is free from lots of places online. I'm just happy they sent me an email asking me to fill out a survey concerning my recent experience with their support team.

LOL, Bluesman!!  Oh my...gonna have to brush up a bit on the old espanol in prep for the next time I get an annoying call!

I've got quite a few Scam calls in the past, The last one was some Pakistani/Indian guy with terrible English telling me that my "Vindows" system is broken !! Pathetic attempt tbh, someone must fall for them though..🤔

I've received several bizarre phone calls over the last few months asking me if I feel like my elderly father is safe when I'm not home.  It's weird because I do live with and care for him.

I just tell them he's dead.  Let's just say that ends the phone call.

  1. S @ scarred14: rift there is people who dont like having to weigh everything and especially compounds where u only need a tiny bit so it would probably sell but i feel its against the nature of what the compound should be for
  2. S @ scarred14: whats this about latsdoodis
  3. RiftChems @ RiftChems: yeah will prob just offer it in powder form
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: @RiftChems i'm sure given the nature of why most people are using that compound they would prefer non-pressed but i don't see it not selling
  5. RiftChems @ RiftChems: is there any market for pressed sr-17018
  6. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: So, it’s capricious and arbitrary to selectively fill some adderall Rx’s but not mine. I told “Jacob” I’d be making a board of pharmacy complaint and he could explain why in my individual case he refused to fill a valid prescription. His store policy can either fill nobody’s and violate contracts with health/drug insurance plans or fill everyone who presents with no clinical suspicion of harm or diversion on an individual basis. Corporate decisions are profit driven; unlawful if medical choice

  13. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Know how to get a script if you don't have ADHD? A vyvanse script at least, read the DSM-V diagnostic criteria and apply the symptoms to either real thing in your life or make up shit, give examples of the symptoms, don
  14. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Pretty sure most pharmacies won't honor a prescription from those kinds of services.
