Does anyone know if it is possible to set up a reoccurring bitcoin payment (like for donations) using Electrum or some other tool?

Basically, I want to send $20 a month to DBG as a monthly donation. I was thinking about using Python to integrate something into Electrum but I'm not sure if Electrum has an API / SDK / etc. for developers to interface with.

Also, I don't want to reinvent the wheel so if there is already something out there, I would just use that.

Suggestions?

There are a couple of tools for subscriptions and reoccurring payments with crypto, but I think for what you want to do they would need to be tweaked a bit.

Electrum has a CLI which can be used with a scheduled command on your OS.

I will look into a few things on a developer API this weekend and see if I can help you out with this solution.

Thanks! CLI tools would work. Ideally I could get a Python integration where I can set up something.

Thanks for taking a look. It shouldn't be too hard to integrate.
