How long does it normally take to receive a package from Starlite?  They said they were shipping it today.  They didn't tell me how they were shipping it or give me a tracking #. 

 
@Missy50 It depends on where you're located (you don't have to say where on the forums). If you're in the United States it can take anywhere from 7-14 days. If you live in the UK or somewhere in Europe it will be much sooner from what I've read. 

He's a good vendor, tends to keep good care of his customers.

Anyone in the US know the general shipping time, specifically southern US? I've been wanting to place an order but wanted a better idea how long it typically takes for Southern US. Thanks in advance 

 
Well, I ordered 4/14/16, it shipped 4/18/16, its now 5/3/16 and.......I am starting to get worried.  Also I am totally out and in pain.

 
Yeah I ordered from him 4/15/16, and it's now 5/11/16 and still nothing. Normally he's never taken longer than 2 weeks. I emailed him and he said a lot of orders from around then were taking awhile, but assured me it would arrive soon.

I'm starting to worry though this order may have been intercepted.

Anyone ever not gotten any order delivered from Jim?

How often is customs able to catch these? I'm pretty a 100% success rate is not possible...

 
I don't know this is my 1st time, I am still waiting.  I placed a very small order just in case, so I'm not out that much.  Don't want to complain though, it's frowned upon.  No more expectations from me....

The hypothesis makes sense, only thing I’d be wary of is the irritability of VG, and keep in mind, when VG and HCł are mixed, chlorôhýdrín is produced which is very irritating but that’d have to be pretty strong HÇł I believe and just washing before hand will rid the excess HÇł

N @ necromedic: @ochemdim : anecdotally, especially with the way other people have prepared them with just distilled H2O and maybe EtOH or BA for sterility, I would definitely agree, and I’ve wondered if that it’s due to the speed of drainage with such a low weight solvent. That’s why I’ve experimented with adding VG to increase viscosity to let it hang in the NM a little longer. Possibly more diffusion/osmotic pressure with a dry vs hydrated medium?
  10. O @ ochemdim: @Royboy88, @Layne_Cobain, @necromedic in a couple research papers I’ve read, they always found that the sprays had lower absorption rates compared to traditional. I could be wrong but I’d research it if I were doing a study and needed references

  12. N @ necromedic: @Royboy99: I’ve just held on to one, rinse it with EtOH and refill with saline and VG. You can find the devices, dirt cheap, on a lot of sites.
