I had been investigating the Silk Road, too, because of some recommendations.

But when I read about Tor which is only for the FireFox browser and messes your Mozilla add-ons etc up when you install it, I lost my enthusiasm..

No way I'm messing up my FireFox for an unknown site, I like it too much.

I read and read about the 'bitcoins' and never did really understand that payment system. It was weird.

I will mention that Tor runs you thru at least 3 different servers, there's encryption (the kind to see if you're a bot and another with boxes of black dotted shapes to read/identify), many security features.

A computer geek friend of mine says Tor is for real and does do the 3 servers relay & extensive security to protect ULs.

Too bad it's not the real thing.

As I posted some time ago at the beginning of this thread, this IS NOT the Silk Road site found through Tor. This is YET ANOTHER of the Stashman scam boards.

This thread will be moved to the Blacklist Section.

Finding the Road is easy if a banger like me can. The friggin hard part is buying bitcions.

Yes, Silk Road is not difficult to find if you do some base level research and are patient, as the Tor browser has a moderate degree of difficulty in terms of setting it up properly and understanding it. There's also the matter of its speed, or lack thereof. Anyway, if I'm not able to lock this thread, I'm going to ask admin to do so, as the website in the thread title is NOT Silk Road, but a scam site as I noted previously. All future discussion of the real Silk Road site should take place in the proper thread. Thanks!

Sorry man I should have known better. I'll zip it.
No worries headbanger, it's all good. Just trying to make sure that no newbies get confused and ultimately scammed. In fact, definitely post as much as you like on the subject of the real Silk Road and your experiences. We haven't had a lot of discussion of that around here, and it's something that could benefit members in some situations, although I would only recommend it to the highly experienced customer. Anyway, look forward to reading about your experiences in their thread. Have a good one, an stay bangin'!

Hey, new dude here.

This is my first post, and a rant/warning about the fake silk road. I'm referring to the one that comes up if you google silk road- silkroaddrugmarket.com.

I totally got taken by the fake silk road a week ago. I feel like such an idiot. I lost a couple hundred bucks, which makes me embarrassed, but what's more embarrassing is that I thought this was the real silk road.

I knew the deal was too good to be true, but I wanted to believe it so badly that I wired the bastard money, taking only his word as a guarantee.

Stay away from this site, especially the top sellers that comes up as you enter the site, Fastashipa, Stongox, etc. These are all scammers. They will take your money and never send you any product. I think that the whole site is just one dude who poses as a bunch of different "sellers." I think it's all one operation. Just one scamming mofo.

Why do I think this? Because of the way they write. It's all very similar. The reviews are the same. The responses you get when you email them are the same. The scammers do attempt to create a persona for each email, but it seems obvious, to me at least, that it's all coming from one single operation.

I notice that drugbuyersforum.org operates much the same way, and unless someone has success stories to contradict me, I'm almost certain that this site is a scam, and that all these "sellers" are not distinct entities but actually only one or two people, or operations, posing as many.

Probably most readers here are savvy enough not to have fallen for this. Some may not even know what that such fake sites exist. I was very naive, and I have been ripped off a few times now. Some times for dollar amounts that I'm too ashamed to mention.

I hope I have more luck now that I know how to use the real SR.

I'm starting a blog to write about all the places that have ripped me off.

Really? Are you just desensitized and don't want to hear it? I don't blame you, you probably read about this everyday, but why would I write fake posts that talk negatively about sites if it didn't happen? What good would this do?

I've been reading around and notice that you are very familiar with this already- FloridaPill, stashman, etc.

Sorry for the repetition.

For me it's still a fresh wound

Yes, we've covered that ground in great depth. I can tell you just about anything you'd like to know about dear Stashman / Benzo Lee, who, by the way, began his career and honed his craft on Topix. That should tell you all you need to know about that board.

Noted: Topix= ripped off, jail, stabbing, shooting, robbery, general anarchy.

Topix ain't all bad if you are smart about it, there's an occasional diamond in the rough /default_wink.png

Ok, diamond is an overstatement...very nice cubic zirconium in the rough is more like it.

But the average consumer inexperienced with using it and other sketchy/risque methods should probably stay away still.

Yes, Benzo Lee, aka Stashman, etc, is most definitely still running his game. He's less active on Topix these days, as even the Topix crowd has finally learned to recognize his BS. He now prefers scam websites, and has pioneered the scam forum, complete with "Approved Vendors" who supposedly have posted deposits with the board to "guarantee delivery". He's truly a sociopath's sociopath. And believe me, should I find out that he's even so much as lurking here on DBG, it's on like Donkey Kong. Not on this Wookie's watch.

Give em hell BRO!
You needn't worry on that one. This Wookie doesn't play games where con artists are concerned. I fully intend to make sure scammers understand that they're dealing with grown ass men (and lady!) when they bring their game to DBG.

  14. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  15. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend

  18. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda You win. I am lost. Thought you were surprised your license was a Real ID, now you say you provided those items.
  19. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  20. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
