I know this has nothing to do with this group.  

Im on a different forum too the last few months.  Its a parenting forum.  I joined because my fertility problems and wanted support.  However I signed on today to find that im banned forever, because apparently im a member from the past that was banned?  WTF?  Who does that without seeing who you really are?  The email I used is mine since 1995, they can easily see who i am from that one thing alone, plus i can prove that, that is me and im NOBODY ELSE.  They didnt give me a chance thought and I have seriously no idea what it was about in the first place?

I never fight on the forum, im always kind and support, as its a support forum.  You cant even get ahold of them after they banned you to talk it out and show that you are you//:(

I have looked up this problem and found im not the only one this has happened too, that really does stink.  I made some really great net friends who helped me so much.  I cant even get ahold of them. I never ever in a million yrs thought that this would happen...:(

That's very unfortunate, realistically it looks like you will have to start again on another forum I suppose . I know it's not what you want and you will miss people, but what else can you do? It seems unusual you can't even contact them about the ban? 

 
I know, its very strange.  they make it so you cannot log out, and if you try and email them your email bounces back.  So I cant even try to prove im me.  I know idea who in the world they think I am..(shrug)

It would have been nice if I could contact them at least to have a chance to clean up whatever mess they think happened.

I know ill have to start someplace else,  it kind of stinks.  I have a hard to intergrating because of Asbergars.  I was on there forum for months before I felt ok enough to even post.

Starting a new gives me so much anxiety, its not even funny.

Though even if they would have me back now, im not even sure I want to go back.  Yes i would love it because the friends I made there, but to have just been booted like this.  I wouldnt want to go through it again by mistake...

Sorry Minion. That's a personal subject and I can see why it might take time to feel comfortable with posting about it. Have you tried using a different email?

 
thanks guys, I have not tried using a new or different email to contact them but I was thinking I may try that today.  I just find it oh so weird that this can happen, just like that.  I looked at my email and I joined almost a yr ago so its not just a few months, though  I do not think i posted till I was there 4-6 months later. Since I been there so long without incident I really wonder on on earth happened?  How did they even come to such a far fetched conclusion, and wouldnt you want the person to prove who they really where if you even suspected a user who has been there a yr without an incident?  I did alot of googling the last two days and it seems this forums is well known for doing just this, so maybe im better off....

They been around a long time, so I dont get it :/

Maybe its just not meant to be gotten and its a good omen Im not on there anymore, ill just miss the friendships I did make.  Maybe i should get emails addies off people once friended so I dont feel such a loss if this even happens again.

 
Good luck finding answers with the alt. email. Their policy of blanket ban, zero info and no provision to appeal is ridiculous for a group that, by your description, is supposed to be for "support".

You are not being unreasonable in what you are asking for, and you've every right to feel maligned and upset. A year is a long time to be "visiting" with people and for them to just cut you off seems childish, unimaginative and unprofessional.

Sounds like they've made a massive screw up, and their stubbornness for cutting off contact seems absurd, especially when it's such an important forum to so many people.

Definitely try the alternative e-mail, don't give up on it just yet. And you don't have the details of any other members there that you could contact?

If it comes to it, joining a new one is the only way. I completely understand the nervousness of it, though, and your condition, I won't go into my traits, but I do have high functioning traits, and it took me many months to settle into this forum, literally months. I've joined other forums, from vegetarian ones, to rabbit keeping ones, to chemical research ones, to mental health support ones, but I've not settled into any.

But you managed to settle into this forum, everyone likes you, so I'm sure you will find a new one if you have to. =)

 
Hey sadminion and smoka90. Please tell me to p*ss off if this is too personal. Am I right in thinking that you both have Aspergers diagnosis? I only ask as I am waiting for a referral myself, and would very much like to know how your diagnostic testing went.

Thanks guys, I joined a few since but I have not posted in any..Im feeling weird and a bit scared since that happened.  I dont want to (fall in love with a place) just to be yanked for reason that isnt even mine..

I love this place and have settled in but it took months of reading to get comfy here....and there..

i suppose in time i may feel comfy in one of them, until then Ill just keep on reading..

As for my diagnosis, Yes That is what Im diagnosed with...

Really not that comfy talking about it...but I was diagnosed as a child.

I also dont feel (high functioning) I always feel way behind, and very lost.

 
Respect for joining other forums, I know it's tough, but sometimes you just have to lurk and then start off really quietly. Other members will appreciate the quietness, no-one likes really high and mighty people. Just keep reading and getting a feel for the place, and it will work out okay. =)

As for my traits, I keep them close to my chest, not had an official diagnosis but took a test and scored very highly, but now I'm lucky enough to be with someone who gets it, and I don't just use booze to mask all the seclusion, not for the last year anyway.

I just married someone who gets me 99 percent of the time, lol . Im very lucky to have found him...

Others in my life just couldn't handle it sadly.  Oh well, there loss.

There will be hot spots with a good processor though. Farm@ mixers are on another level, but also very expensive

But a food processor isn’t going to cut it if you’re going for p0tëncy consistency in the theoretical caps. Farm@ companies use wayyyyy more intensive and expensive mixing equipment to get homogeneous caps.
