Total Scam

Placed an order with this pharmacy.

They claim that the medicine comes from Louisiana.  However I was instructed to send the Western Union to Cameroon which is in West Africa.  A couple days later they send me an email stating that I need to send them $ 550 in order to purchase an insurance policy on the package to be shipped. 

First of all this little nugget of information is nowhere to be found on their website.  I guess they figure that no one would be very interested in such information. 

Secondly, when was the last time that someone forced you to pay such a high amount  to buy insurance on a mail parcel. 

Of course then they claim that the insurance money will be reimbursed to you after the package is successfully delivered. 

So there you have it.  What a crock. I took one for the team.

Now i understand why there are so many new registrations from Cameroon on this forum. ( all i have rejected )

Never or never send money to Cameroon, Nigeria, Gana, Senegal.............

I just came across that website a couple days ago, sorry you had to find out the hard way. I assumed it was a scam mostly because of the name, but also they claim to have everything at ridiculously low prices. Red flag

It's a shame that so many people don't find us until AFTER they get taken on some Internet scam. Myself included! Although mine was a doctor referral scam.

I think the national pastime in Cameroon must be Internet scamming. Like Admin said, nothing from that part of the world should be trusted. And if the prices are too good and ordering is too easy (such as they take ccs), run!

Stick with the vendors listed here.

I feel like such a fool. I got the bad “Starlight” mixed up with the good “Starlite.” I totally got scammed and I thought I did my homework. Now I am out money and because I suffer from severe anxiety anyway I feel hopeless as I can’t seem to find a backup site for my meds. I tried to email doc who I used to use and he hasn’t gotten back to me, and I emailed the real Starlite and nothing on that as well. I am just sick. Please be careful everyone especially if you do have anxiety. This is a terrible “game” we have to play just to be well and I hope there’s a special place in hell for those who prey on us. I know we’re not supposed to out and out ask where to go but I am at a really low point right now as I have been reading a lot. I am not new to this, just this new forum. Thanks in advance. I know many of you have felt like I am now. I would be so grateful for some advice. ...other than telling me I did a stupid thing. Trust me, I know.

Whenever I think about reputable people who sell high quality goods the first country that comes to mind is Nigeria!

@Christi, the REAL starlite on here is 100% legit. The OP of this thread is talking about a completely different starlight (different spelling, different eMaiL, etc), so def give our starlite (admin posted contact info on this thread—second or third post) a chance.

I observe that the website is gone now, but i'm sure it will show up under a slightly other name in the future.

This has nothing to do with Jim's service . starliterx.is

Because the website is gone now i will lock this thread so there is no further confusion about this.
