Suboxone For Anxiety!

im think if i can distract myself with somthnig i wouldnt think about how i need that other half, ur right though
What I meant was that subs have a ceiling effect where 4mg. and 8mg. will feel the same.  I have read others say the same thing that they couldn't tell a difference.

i only took half this morning, and i cant really feel the difference, you think that because i took a whole one everyday that i will feel withdrawl when the build up of sub that i normally had drops some?

No, it doesn't work the way other opies work.  Because of the ceiling effect taking more than 4mg. is a waste and will feel the same as taking 8mgs.   I went from 8 to 4 to 2 without feeling any difference and so did others on another board I was on where people were trying to get off subs.  Most doctors that prescribe subs are really ignorant about the amounts.  I'm really proud of you for trying it and now you will have twice the amount!!

Suzie is absolutely right! And at lower than 4mg the thereputic effectiness is better spread out over the day. IMO! I can now use 1mg 4x per day and i feel the same as if i took all 4 at once, however, there is a bit of a "rush" if taken all at once. But if you use this medicine daily that will diminish. This is not factual its just what I've experienced.

Hey how t those zubs? Compared to suboxone something not even close or what??

just a squirrel trying to get a nut!

I was on suboxone for 6 years and stayed clear of any other drugs besides the occasional xanax when my add got super bad (I know xanax is not for add but it helped both my add and anxiety ) .The subs must have also been helping control my anxiety but they also make me what i call feelingless. When I weaned myself off of subs I went from 24 mg to 2 mg in less than a month . Everything was fine til I quite taking the 2 mg . Then I had horrible caps and spasms for over a month. So bad my wife could not even sleep in the same bed with me . The no sleep and sore muscles finally took a toll on me and a started to get back into some very old and bad habits . 5 months later and 60 pounds lighter I ended up going back to my doctor and getting back on subs . Did not realize how much he they helped with my anxiety until I quite taking them . I told my wife when I stopped taking them (I hope I don't feel to good ) she said (What) . Yeah I did start feeling to good . Lol way to f'n good .

That sounds a lot like coming off trams. Restless leg/spams are horrible. I've used benzos, pod tea, and/or c0deen in combinations to relieve them at different times.

I wish subs helped my anxiety. I made the switch from methadone to subs twice and each time it's like I'm jumping out of my skin the whole time. Constant panic attacks even at doses <2 mg. really wished that it worked but it is super weird. I've taken every opiate that I know of and never had a side effect like that. It is a weird drug that has tons of unknown effects and uses for depression and anxiety and all?(for most). A little scary some of the talks of wider off label prescribing for depression.

BE CAREFUL with benzos. I was stuck in and endless nightmare of wd's for two years. I had no idea what I was in for. I won't get into details, but it's been almost two years and I'm still not the same. It's saddens me to think how many people are prescribed this stuff for long durations. In my experience it should not be used on a daily bases. Not unless you plan to screw your brain up for life.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….

  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
