Welcome to The Briefing Room, the "news wire" thread for DBG's newly created Security sub-forum, hosted by Jewenberg's VP of Security and DBG's resident digital security expert, Hooter1! Our vision for this Briefing Room thread is to provide a central location for the latest, hot off of the presses security news and information, or a "news feed" of sort. Once a particular story or subject is no longer new, per se, the moderators can move the original news story posts and any related replies to another topical thread for further, ongoing discussion.

This is a great idea Jewy and Hooter. Hooter seems to have a wealth of knowledge regarding these matters, so I'm glad you created this. I think that many people will feel more at ease hearing the latest news. Thanks Hooter and Jewy.

You're most welcome D, but I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Admin, who acted on this idea / request in less than 30 minutes following my having presented it. We have one of the best, most attentive and thorough Admins in the business, and he's an excellent leader that equips his staff to do what they do best. I encourage everyone to follow this topic by clicking the button on the upper, right hand corner of the page, as I'm certain that Hooter will be providing us with exceptional, up to the minute content that will help ensure our online privacy and safety!

Thank you also admin, really appreciated. This was put together extremely fast considering I just read Jewy and hooter's conversation that ultimately developed into this.

 
In the meantime, if a mod chooses to move a couple of recent topic into here that would be great, and I must slow everyones excitement.

There are simply things that sometimes cross my path, and naturally I bring them straight here, but make no mistake, there will be dry spells. If there are any "reasonable" questions, I will probably answer, any thread.

I thank Admin for jumping on this, everyone else for the encouragement, and Jewy for being, well, what and who he is.

Great idea, a place where we can get the greatest and lastest important information and breaking news. Jewy and hooter1 have incredible foresight to think of this under the current circumstances. And we could not have a more reliable expert - hooter1 Lion!

And the comms were wired and he was really wanting me to make his forum board look better. Now I know the first thing to look at even before the menu. But I have some business with usps tomorrow and will ask for everything mailed to me especially packages
