I agree that he makes some awesome movies. There is just something different about them. They’re highly entertaining, entangled, keeping you on the edge of your seat , never knowing where it’s going to go, in a slow paced fashion yet never losing your interest . But giving you time to really think and ponder.Tara said:@jtab
I LOVE Martin Scorsese movies!
Casino is one of my all time favorite movies.
And Cape Fear is awesome!
Also love The Departed.
For some reason, I couldn’t get into Goodfellas.
Did you see “Silence?” Completely different than his other movies.
I haven’t seen Silence but am certainly intrigued. I’m looking it up right after this.
On another note, I love No Country For Old Men. That was one of the best! I like to watch movies without really knowing anything about them, so I’m not expecting, and I did that with No Country For Old Men, and it really surprised me the turns it took. I could see Javier Bardem being attractive to a lady from that movie. His strong persona and how cool, calm and collective he stayed was really interesting yet devious, even in the most f’ed up moments. He was definitely the ultimate “bad” boy.
