The Drug Growers

I grow Cannabis and tomato plants, but that is about it unfortunately & I'm not exactly the best or most experienced botanist ever either lol.

Ive grown poppies in Zone 6, with 3 pannel raised garden, scraped about 1 good hit of pod milk opium, and 80mg of alkaloids from processing the straw, its possible in zone 6 canada, but yeild is never tooo impressive.

I once grew a huge bed of datura in my uncouth youth, but even through i was griwing then to study botany of solanaceus plants, i did let my impulsivity o make joints with its pedals and seeds, and spent 8 hours vaguely retardified and dry as a desert, dont use datura, ever, even tho i did have many good times smoking brugmansia petals cut with tobacco and hash.

Where is zone six in reference to northern New England, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire is that Western Canada or eastern just so I can get an idea of the climate cause I haven’t been able to find much info I had put them outside and nothing came up so I was going to either do an inside hydroponic or an aeroponic. I’m not sure. Back during World War I and two they were encouraging Americans to grow that late to help with the Civil War one of the two I can’t remember, but it used to be like a natural national crop for real until they didn’t need the medication for soldiers.

Im in B.C canada on the West coast.

I have been trying to grow p. Somniferum for five years now with no lucky. Finally, this summer, I got it.

My yield was low and not everything made it because I was trying out different mediums, planting times, and amounts of sunlight to find the optimal conditions, but I finally found what makes them flourish. I had poppies that I planted the last week of May that reached 4 feet in height and produced as many as seven pods per plant. I got about 1g of raw O to smoke and found out it was just a waste and better mixing it with hot water, lemon juice, and kratom.

Also, the pods—don't let them dry out. That's why poppy tea tastes so horrible. When the petals fall, wait a 4-7 days until the pods are slightly firm, then scrape and milk the latex if you wish over the course of a few days, then cut the pod while it's still green, chop it into fine, tiny pieces, put it in a saucepan to simmer with lemon juice and just enough water so the material barely floats.

Stir and pulverized the mixture a little with a spoon for about 10 minutes to get all the alkaloids out, pure into a French press, press, and pour through a strainer to to remove any plant matter.

What you're left with is a tea that doesn't taste bad at all. It's nothing compared to using dried poppy pods, and if you add about 3 grams of kratom to it, you'll be floating.

Also, save the used pods for a second rinse.

Haha! The governmint encouraging citizens to grow anything especially poppies is hilarious… and for war… duh… that part actually makes sense

Personally, I believe every human should have access to grow a year round food forest perennial annual veggies herbs medicinal medicine that is food… plus all the indoor/lights/climate controlled/hydroponic/aeroponic is just icing on the cake… every day all day… not just life during wartime jam…

I grow flower - want to get started on Shrooms. They are legal (pretty much) near me. They sell spores in gas station coolers lol. Anyone want to help me get started? I just need to know what to get and advice. Ty

I love to grow bud and poppies. I haven't ever harvested the poppies though. Too scared of not knowing how to dose even though I'd love to smoke some one day. If anyone has any tips with this lmk!

Beautiful pics
