Hi, Denise.  Hope you are well.  Quick question.  I know... Mr. annoying rears his ugly head.  Question is when you post multiple songs in a row, why do you make each song an individual post when you can post multiple songs in a single post.  Just curious, not trying to start crap, I swear

Hi DGSB, and you're not Mr. Annoying.  We're way beyond all that - you can PM me or post anytime, my friend, to ask questions or discuss things with me.

If you notice sometimes I do post related mult videos, for ex in movie section or certain artist.

And early in this thread I posted most my videos in a single post, too, but ........

ONE - I noticed some other members putting all theirs in individual posts, thought maybe that's the way it was being done now to kinda separate different music or draw attention to videos (which are hard on the eye if several down in a row close together)  Nothing was said to members doing this.  I couldn't find a post either way or the other about the subject when other members began posting this way, so I guess I was just a sheeple and started doing what others around me were doing......

Same with quotes - I was doing sometimes long posts by fav poets - but most other members were posting each one in single post (sometimes w/o even quoted source), so I stopped doing the page of quotes (thought it might be annoying people and it DOES make the quote stand out more not to be in list of quotes at once)

TWO -  If I post more than a couple of videos at once, I start getting confused - since you only see the link and nothing else while posting & using the media-maker button.  It is easier to do one at a time (no excuse, just telling you the truth.)

Sometimes, DGSB, I am so lonely at night.....it's therapeutic for me to listen and post music,listen to other members' music.... keeps me from crying and stressing out - so I sincerely apologize if you think I'm doing something out of line - but once again, I'm not the only one doing this, nor was I the one to begin doing it habitually on this thread.........so I can't answer for why it started or really why it's happening...... only why I'm doing it.

I will say that Shattered Soldier, Interlude, and other valued members PM me that they like the changes made to the forum past few months.  They consider the games and music, etc a positive addition.  I agree.

Off Topic:

This is weird, but I am MORE forgetful since I got off most of my meds than I was when they kept me doped to the gills.   Now, explain that?  Pain distracting me maybe?  Seems my memory should be better..... /default_huh.png

Not in any way think you are doing anything wrong.... just I know some folks have issues in how to post vid or multiple vids.... no worries at all, like I said just curious.  There's a movie section?  How long has that been around?  Been out of it with personal shit last few weeks, trying to get some sanity back by coming "home" to DBG in a way.  I will agree, I like how the forum is seeming more like a group of friends helping friends (well... you know for a chunk anyhow).  I guess my only worry is with the SR thing... is there going to be an influx of vultures looking for a place to roost... ok I know off topic.... and stopping there anyhow... not worth the agitation of dwelling on it.   Hope you are well, have a good night.  S-

At first, I was kinda upset people were single posting, too, cuz I thought we should have same standards for everyone but it continued to point of up to 8-9 videos posted separately in a row sometimes - nothing was said and it went on.  I went with the flow and will go with the flow......whatever Admin wants.

I've watched and haven't seen bunch of newbies on threads like music, books, etc. If they start doing it - we need to report it to a mod.

Otherwise, once you reach a certain number of posts.....what does it matter?  We don't get trophies or any freebies for # of posts (darn it  /default_laugh.png )

But yeah, ck out the Music, Books, etc area - it has threads with games now - there is a neverending story where each person adds one 5 word line at a time, there is a song title game.....movie section is active..... Let us know YOUR favorite movies and play the games with us - it's fun.  There are some totally hilarious lines in the story - a couple almost made me choke to death laughing so hard!   /default_tongue.png
