I just watched this again. I watched it when I was like 19, when it first came out and now at 35, OMG. It’s crazy how your view changes through the years.

My heart just broke for Aileen. During the whole movie I felt bad.

@Tara @Whoopiegoldburgg222

I think the villain of the whole movie was STUPID Selby. She made me so mad. She was so selfish and immature.
Like could she not stop and appreciate Aileen hookin’ for her for one minute? Omg. Lmao. She was guilting her into hookin’ !  I could go on.

Aileen had a terrible terrible life. Never really having family or anyone to give a f about her. She did what she could to survive. It may of been wrong but understandable at the same time. She actually really loved Selby. She did everything she could for her. It just hurts my heart.

Let me just say this, man if I could have half of Aileen’s confidence! I’m fairly smart, halfway good looking, decently sociable and I don’t even have an oz of that confidence but damn, Aileen brought THE confidence! Cig hanging out the side of the mouth and everything!

  12. shoutback @ shoutback: I think when we have open discourse without preconceptions we all agree more than we disagree
  13. D @ drdrizzy13: Oh I totally agree and I agree the War on Drugs was and is a complete failure.
  14. shoutback @ shoutback: I'm not trying to say my point of view is better than others, just think we need to have more open and honest discussion about everything
  15. D @ drdrizzy13: You are right it probably doesn't. It has pretty much ruined my other first cousins live. He is so out there. It just sucks to see ya know. They take it to the extreme.
  16. shoutback @ shoutback: @drdrizzy13 your exoerience does not reflect the overall mainstream
  17. D @ drdrizzy13: yea for sure.
  18. shoutback @ shoutback: This is one of the few places in the internet where we can freely discuss this things and taking reactive stance like fentanyl and zenes are the devil do not promote a heathy discourse on the subject, though I understand admin also does not want to be under constant threat of people like the dea and fda
  19. D @ drdrizzy13: Honestly I can't think of any alcohoclis except for a friends Dad. I haven't drank in 10 years. I don't really hang around peole that drink or go to bars. I just hate being around drunks lol. And going to bars sucks if your not drinking too.
  20. shoutback @ shoutback: We don't work on something and do not continue developing with developing safeguards and appropriate treatment methods we adapt to what we learn. How many people do you know with alcohol addictions ? How many violent rapes and murders do we see happen under someone under the influence of alcohol yet alcohol is not demonized in the way fentanyl is and that affects much less people. Let's not be hypocritical. The prohibition model does not work and this is no place where we should be promoting it
