I split my hand open today on a tin of tomatoes. From the bottom of the little finger to the palm. I could see the flesh poking out and it bled for two hours. 

I saw a lovely male nurse who numbed the hand with a big needle, stitched me up and bandaged me.

He offered me co-codamol but I said that I couldn't take anything with paracetamol in it *cough* He asked me what I wanted and I got a pack of 28 Teva codêine 30mg.

Every cloud... ?

Oh yes, I took the codêine, not the co-codamol. I am not keen on paracetamol either. I can still feel pain after several tablets, might see what my doctor's surgery can do tomorrow! ?
