I agree with that, I mainly posted this to create conversation to spark younger members that dont know not to sit and blow up trackin$g repeadtly..etc not sure if you followed the link above, that shit is fucking scarry and happened in some butt fuck town like Nebraska or something!!! Personally I have ID# and notifications set to a burne*r that obviously is 5 steps away from anyone I have ever heard of and just chill.....etc I dont recall ever track(ing unless concerned or with INL sometimes...etc

so actually naw you can totally create ID on any address with no KYC I have on half a dozen so I can always keep an eye in the sky, not challenging you just sharing what I have done and apparently this tthread defrintly touched a nerve with some members hope all is well, certainly didnt mean to upset anyone I came across this a few times research Opspec practices...etc as I have only been at this for a year or so subscribing and such. However I have a large family with solid big brothers that have been active for 15 years at it. Anyway sorry guys I come from an older generation where we would say TRUST BUT VERIFY thanks for all the people that have contributed and for future members that share on this topic as far as I am concerned I simply use Tor over VPN and annoymously keep an eye on ID, of course with my no KYC acct..etc ID is legit in my book, the min arrangements are made, boom there it is, and you can sit back with out doing anything and keep an eye in the sky.....just my experience anyway

It should not cause anybody to feel defensive or striking nerve. This is a community and it’s been a great community. Saved my ass many time. Saved me from check-in whether the store had peanut butter in or didn’t yet. Sometimes seeing a review, just lets you know everything is copacetic. That’s why reviews are very good sometimes for patients and reassurance to just sit back. It’s very important for the board that we have discussions like this in my opinion. She gets more more real every day because of all this Tech nonsense. So we gotta stay on our game too, and it’s easy to forget that sometimes. We have such great vendors and take that for granted sometimes as well.

Most vendors advise not to check tracking, just wait for your packs to arrive. If something unusual happens, you can use a simple cover story like: “I wasn’t aware of the package,” which is easier to maintain since there’s no digital proof that you checked the tracking details.

I promised myself I had contributed enough to this thread and seeing I createtd it I am more than pleased everyone got involved and help share knowlege, that was the sole purpole of posting it as sometimes folks nmeed to see it in black and white before they get it. But you just summed up whatever should know LESS IS MORE, dont givet them anything!!!! simply ID with SMS and you will automatically be updated without evening having to0 look at tit, as soon as I see the icon of the lil dude walking I know its on to the nxt. Hope this helped some people our and seriously if you are one of the people sitting and tracking evey three minutes to see when it is handed over,, and then when it moves to the ext, and then when it arrives in your city, and then goes to your local, and the........etc STOP you are literally WAVING A RED FLAG SAYING HEY HERE IAML!!! just a thought

Yes informed I used and payed 30 more dollars for it to be overnighted from

Really good way to put it and I agree. Constant tracking doesn’t change the outcome, it just makes more anxious. Keeping it simple and just letting the updates come through is the best approach. Thanks for sharing this, it’s actually really helpful.

there were a couple vendors back during the d4rknètm4rkeʇ subreddit days where the unsealed indictment mentioned things like constantly checking tracking and using timing analysis with scans and public comms. i think a couple buyers who got out on small time or managed to skirt charges also mentioned tracking coming back to bite them. it's a lot less prominent now, they really seemed to be going after people hardcore between 2016-2019 especially when h4nŞa and a7phabaʏ were compromised.

I wonder if the tracking data was discovered after an investigation was already underway. IMO it's more likely that the systems were already suspicious and they used the tracking data after the fact to create a timeline and support that the individual knew about the orders.

It is likely alphabet agenciescustoms have an algorithm to detect patterns consistent with "suspicious orders." Knowing a bit about data analysis and learning algorithms, I can't imagine it'd be highly tuned or super effective, but I'd invite being proven wrong.

It would also be incredibly unwieldy (big data wise) and expensive to create and run such an algorithm, with no guarantee of success to justify the expense. Data they have on mail is limited; size and weight, tracking incl. origin and destination, declared contents along with customer data and their interactions with tracking.

They could train an algorithm on data from known cases of mail trafficking, but that data is limited and patterns across vendors would be limited too. You need a lot of well organised, high quality data to train an algorithm well. Mail is still a needle in a haystack.

tl;dr Certainly use a vpn and avoid using tor, but if you've been selected for investigation, all the opsec in the world may not save you. That said, it can reduce evidence and increase plausible deniability should it go to trial. I've seen cases of opsec paranoia induced psychosis too, (PHX anyone?) So be careful, be smart, but don't fixate on the lie of "perfect opsec."

Don't sweat it if you spam checked your tracking in the past, didn't use a VPN, tracked with an account/login or used tor. You're probably fine. And it's essentially impossible to have perfect opsec if you want to lead anything resembling a normal, enjoyable life.
