i am a morning person, but i seem to be able to avoid taking anything before late afternoon; i have to keep my head on straight. By early evening though I've usually taken something.

I would definitely taper down if you can. There is absolutely no reason to take more benzos than you need. That'll get you hooked on those high doses that are very difficult to sustain if you ever lose an internet connection and have to find meds locally. I only eat 6mg a day andand it takes everyone I know to get me by if an order is late. Lol. The easier you can take it on the benzos, the better. Imo
