Get some big fresh chillies, cut them into short cylinders, stuff with a tasty Feta cheese, throw them in a jar of olive oil and let the marinade for about 8 hours or so. very simple and perfect with beer!

In the UK we tend to scoff out of bags of salty foodstuffs. Pork scratchings and Scampi Fries being staples!

@Jellopanda Your version sounds much healthier though. :)

I have another one. A little bit more complicated, but still quite easy

Fry one pound of ground beef, a medium sized onion finely chopped, a fresh medium strength chili chopped into rings. Add a finely chopped clove of garlic a minute before it's done. Put this on tortillachips with a bit of salsa on top (homemade is best ofc, but store-bought works fine) and ground cheese (your choice of cheese, but cheddar works fine as long as it's not that fake orange cheddar. Gruyere, Gouda, and Emmentaler also works. And since i'm norwegian i have to mention Jarlsberg). put the nachos in an ovenproof casserole and cook in the oven on 225 degrees celsius (you english people may need to google a celsius-fahrenheit converter) for about 5 minutes. Optional: serve with creme fraiche.

Also perfect with beer. As mentioned in another post i just wrote i don't drink beer anymore, except for the relapse i had just yesterday, but i still enjoy beer snacks. Maybe i shouldn't tho because it makes me miss beer :/ This can be served as lunch and even dinner tho or a snack any time you feel like it.

Sorry this didn't follow the traditional format for recipes, but i wrote it down from just the top of my head.

  20. LW815 @ LW815: @Mycawesome gotta be proactive(aka fiscally irresponsible[borderline retarded]) and way overstock the library. While the preferred genre may not always be in stock always sure to have sub-genres or at the very least another genre to stay entertained while awaiting the next edition of the favorites.
