Understanding Bitcoin

I’m glad I finally took the plunge buying Bitcoin. Ive blown it off so long only because of fear. It is so much easier dealing with BTC rather then sending the money the old fashion ways. On top of that they get the payment so quick. There are so many pluses to using bitcoin. I’ll never go back unless circumstances make me go back. Granted I still have a lot more to learn about BTC but I got the buying and sending part down well! If worried about Bitcoin dont be you will be so happy you jumped on board!!

HOW TO BUY BITCOIN AT ATMs AND IN PERSON!!

If you are still very confused about buying bitcoin here is the easiest/least technological way possible..... There are many atms across the country that sell bitcoin and you pay via debit card...also at the website you are about to see, you will find stores that sell bitcoin. Gas stations, pawn shops etc. Average of 5-8% fee at atms and in person, which is still half of what most ppl are paying online.

1) Download Blockchain Wallet and set it up.

2) Visit www.libertyx.com and enter your city or zip code (zip code seems to be better) and hit search

3) A page will come up showing stores, many of which you will be familiar with, and beside each one it says "Debit" ATM" or "Cash" "Cashier". I'm going to do both real fast----click one that says Cash Cashier. A page loads showing store name, address etc. Click Purchase Bitcoin Here.**(Now go open Blockchain wallet, click request at the bottom right and copy your wallet address)** Paste your wallet address and select the fee for how quick you want your coins processed (aka Miners Fee) and hit enter. It gives you a code. Take that code to the cashier at that particular store and buy however much you want ($500 max per day I think). Once you pay and get a receipt your phone will buzz with a notification from Blockchain of funds received 💪

Atm example: search your area like above and click on a store that has a bitcoin atm. Click Purchase Bitcoin and follow above steps until you get your code. Visit store, go to atm, and click "Liberty" on the screen. Enter your code and pay. Done.

I forgot about this way... Great option if not tech savvy or concerned with identity. I'm hoping these pics post in order. Maybe if it helps then @Admin or @2earls can make it a sticky..

@2earls I did get in touch wit him and he def showed me the ropes and now I finally understand how to by btc with low fees, fairly easily. My first try I did it wrong and the fee was 20 something $, my last fee was 29 cents or something. Btc mos def can be confusing but once you figure it out it unlocks so many doors and it really is simple to use if shown the way like @Rippedmover showed me. Thanks again man.

Glad you got it @aBBazaBBa123 💪 I got $350 today for $8 in fees. It's awesome.

Never ever use "instant buy" in any app or website, the fees will be 4-7x higher!!

This was gonna be my last attempt at purchasing  bitcoin too. 20$ fee to buy instantly and a 29 cent fee to wait ten mins, they dont let you in on that secret tho haha. Im using the exact method you showed me from here on out. Follow his write up, it really is simple and he explains it clear enough for me to understand, and thats sayin a lot haha.

@Dickslapperman When you use a BTC atm, you should have the address of the wallet you want the coins to be sent to. You can have the wallet code on your phone and when asked for the address, hold the code to the scanner on the machine and it will read it and DONE! You should get a text to your phone in a few minutes confirming the transaction. You can also copy the code to a piece of paper and do the same thing. Hope this helps.

  4. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  5. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  6. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.

  10. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: there is no shortage of whales - https://tikolu.net/i/fmnru.png
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
  14. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
  15. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
  17. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: good opportunity to buy more btc if you are gonna do so imo, me I'm buying the btc to switch into better currencies
  18. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: bah politics, no need to worry BTC is a honeypot anyway
