US-US vendor

sorry guys - just keeping folks up to date - didn't realize it was a problem.

so that I may be better educated on these matters, what is ok to say and what is ok not to say and when is it ok to say what we can say?

THanks.

In vendor threads, the golden rules are, reviews and direct questions about the vendor only, no mentioning of shippers/receivers, that sort of thing. Basically, post your review/experience after receipt of present, or if you need info relevant to the vendor or products then that's cool too. The first guideline keeps the thread free of clutter and makes it easy for members to find up to date info on how vendor is doing, the second about shipping times before receipt, keeps you, the vendor and other members safe. Assume anyone could be reading your post. Hope this helps @rocketman! ☺

Back to aforesaid reviews etc!

Use your head and common sense and you should be ok. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn't shout whatever you're gonna type in the middle of a police station or customs office, then don't type it here. Also, for the protection of the vendor as well as yourself don't list what carrier the vendor's using. Also post after you receive unless you're experiencing problems. We don't need to be kept that up to date on your specific orders. :)  These rules/guidelines are all practiced in order to insure that you (and others) receive what everyone orders as well as stay outta hot water.

*or what @PTFC said^^^^^^^. :)  (guess we posted at the same time)

Review time!

Placed holiday request on 6/29.  My SY guy was giving me the "tomorrow" promises so needed a backup plan!

Received TN on 6/30 and a high quality letter re rock climbing gear on 7/2.

Was supposed to receive letter on 7/1 but my letter got a cross country tour before arrival ( this was due to shipper issue but truly no big deal).

Another very successful exchange with vendor!  Always pleased with service and quality!

Ok - NOW I can post. This was my first order.

Donation sent 6/28.

Vendor received donation 6/30.

Vendor unable to send same day but communication A+ and did a solid and did overnight on 7/1 to be delivered 7/2.

Delivered 7/2 but not able to retrieve until today (7/5).

All present and accounted for.

In a word? Brilliant.

well I am completely flipped out - my latest order got there to him with no payment in it - just papers.

anyway ever had this happen before? i am totally terrified.

Don't worry.  As long as you didn't write anything damning inside its random theft.

I've had things stolen from that carrier before.  In fact, I think we can all recall a story or 2 of theft from each major carrier.

Sorry that happened .

nothing written no - just a lot of money and now no order. what do you guys do to try to prevent this? any way to make it "look" better on the outside? jesus - this totally sucks

If I remember, tape the outside, on the inside too.  There are rotten eggs out there, unfortunately it's something I just hope doesn't happen, but occasionally may.

tape the outside of the envelope where it seals? not sure i get what you mean.

I am going to give it another shot. Will report when complete (I hope).

i received a payment on Tuesday, initials on return label are RP, shipping state is in WA. I could not find any correspondence email for this payment. If you are expecting a order and you have not heard from me, please contact me and let me know what name you put on the return address, how much you sent, for verification, and i need to know what product you ordered  and exactly where to ship it. I simply cannot risk shipping the order to the return address on the payment. I have had people do this in the past, please always tell me the tracking number and the amount you sent, the product you ordered, and the shipping address. If you simply tell me you sent payment but did not provide the tn, I will delete the email, the only time i acknowledge an order is when I am provided the tn. The part that really shocks me is this person has not asked me if their order has shipped and i fear they will assume they have been had. So RP, if you read this please let me know whats up.
my mistake, i actually had it covered and didnt know it, the person that sent it was honest enough to tell me that it was taken care of already!

I've been looking for a reliable supplier preferably in the US. I've been burned a few too many times with prepayment and even attempted blackmail. But I still need a certain type of Ben and Perky candies for an ongoing situation.

Review -

sent donation 7/8

TN received 7/9

letter received 7/11

perfect

I was told my last order got there and the payment was not in there. Which was over $400. Pretty pissed now to see that happened to someone else.. Once ? Probably a theft, but to two people within a couple weeks..something's up. Needless to say I never got my order.

I'm sending out for 1st time order. Should I send priority or just ask for TN? I don't use PO very much apparently.

I even go as far as to send photos of placed in the envelope and always include photos of tn as well .

It Has always been a habit sending cash in mail with sy and have done so with G

Lightning fast order

he received my cim on Thursdsy

received order today

quality is superior

I can say he's not the type of guy that takes someones' cash. If it wasn't in there ; it wasn't in there . I've dealt with him long enough to know he's an honest vendor and he told me several times if he was out of my product when I asked.

I offered to send you pictures of the envelope and the condition it arrived and you told me to don't bother as if you weren't surprised the letter came empty. Why wouldn't you want to see what i got so you could say yes or no it was in the same condition as when you sent it? Did someone mail it for you?

  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
