Many members with Protonmail have been receiving scam emails claiming to be from vendors here.

The vendor name is spelled slightly different.

This is very important OPSEC to save your Protonmail from being hacked:
DO NOT use your DBG user name in your email!

If you are doing so, you need to either change your user name or your email.

It has come to my attention scammers are contacting members off their username here and just adding email domains. (Like Proton, gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc)

The scammers are using email addresses IDENTICAL to the real vendor's email but by 1 letter off,
mimicking other letters, using capital i's to look like small L's, etc. You need to triple check the email and at times it isn't even visible to the eye. You need to copy/paste it in txt file and search the correct email and compare with the scammers. You can also do this in most browsers (ctrl + F = search function)
The emails look alike, but upon further inspection ARE NOT.

@LW815 found a site that makes it easier to double check that the address you’re communicating with and the address posted here are the same - www.diffchecker.com - so even those that have trouble figuring out how to search a site/text document/note can easily check even the most deceitful scam addresses.

I urge all members that have the same DBG username/email to change their email address right away.
Your username at DBG and email address should not be alike at all.

The scammers see you commenting here on a vendor's thread and then take your DBG screen name and add all the email domains they can think off (Proton, gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) and hope one works.

Below are some posts from @F33n, @Mammasboi123 and @LW815 that I put together and are solid to share. Thanks for looking out gents!

Just for safety reasons you should always keep your screen names and email names and everything separate in general.

This is how they have been operating, every member that posted they have received the scam email/been scammed has the same username here and email address, so watch out!

Be wary if a vendor emails you first!
If it’s in the same email chain I would delete it all. Make a new email address, and make sure you copy-paste the address from the first post of a vendor's thread before proceeding.

Repeated reports of users that have the same DBG username as their email address are getting scam emails, targeting specific user/author combinations because they’re actively monitoring threads.

The only way to minimize them guessing your email address is to make sure that it is COMPLETELY different from your DBG username. This should really be standard practice across all applications/sites.

You can update the email associated with you DBG account through the settings. So I would recommend anyone that has the same username and email address go create a new email now, and update it in settings. CLICK YOUR USERNAME ON TOP AND THEN ACCOUNT DETAILS.

Also new members that are joining and have the same username and email will be automatically rejected.
An email will be sent to the registered email of your DBG account explaining why.

Good practice. Sometimes hard to keep up with.

is it possible to change your username here?

This EXACTLY scam happened to me and I lost a four figure sum and I feel like a fool.

I'll be writing about it in more detail in a new review I'm writing about my favorite vendor (by a country mile) @iamgroot

Very true it’s important to encrypt layers of your life a public device which you use for social purposes, needs to have a different username than your sub surface ordering email and you need to have a completely different username when buying cryptocurrency. It is important to buy XRP or Montero using a non-KYC method to avoid detection by the federal government.

Groot is on the other side, approved and inaccessible without sponsorship - https://drugbuyersguide.info/forums/welcome-to-drugbuyers-sponsor-ranks-donations.6/ - they don't have Groot player or players in their email - just checked. Maybe you knew them before they were an approved vendor.

If you want to get in touch with them you'll need to become a sponsor.

Sorry to hear you got ripped but you should never assume an unsolicited email is genuine, the opposite in fact.

PS - If your email is guessable from your username change one of them so scammers can't send you unsolicited emails pretending to be vendors.

PPS - I see you posted your email addy in another thread. I'll report it and @Admin will delete it for you. Never post contact info in the forums, scammers will use it to take your 🪙

Thanks, I came in a bit randomly but exercised a bit of caution and now learning haha

I’m a newer member here and I cannot tell you how many emails I have received from people pretending to be vendors on here. In an idiot and lost 4k between two of these scammers. Another new trick people have been doing is claiming the btc I sent as their own. So I’m glad to be a part of this community, I have tried one vendor called puremol and they are 10/10 on communication- my product was smashed in transit and they’re going to taker cate of Me! If anyone has any suggestions on how I can contribute u an here to help as much as possible!

Drugbuyersguide Shoutbox
  1. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @nameofuser11 its not just 7/mgm/psuedo and sr, the dea has a huge list of compounds its banning with this ban. Odsmt is one, all the orphines and a ton more.
  2. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Lole onion sites?
  3. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: @eiffraffca what ya mean
  4. R @ Riffraffca: Has anyone used and markets on the Dark Web?
  5. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @nameofuser11 Lol, happens to the best of us my friend. I think plain leaf will remain pretty easy to access, and prices shouldn’t fluctuate too much. Read up on how to use btc if you don’t know already. It’s not rocket science :)
  6. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: I donated and I forgot how to get the password. I am a moron. Don't worry I have no plans on becoming a vendor with my stupidity
  7. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: @st1ckyf1ng4z you're right of course. But being able to purchase with a debit card on a clearnet site with quality labs and low prices will be gone.
  8. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: Especially if they’re using mitragynine as the parent alk to make substitutes. I think it will affect plain leaf too at the very least it will not be as available as it’s been.
  9. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan @nameofuser11 That’s wild. But basic supply/demand tho, right? In my area all the leaf has been pulled off shelves,
  10. J @ j00ciiez: It sucks they're banning sr17. It seems to be a holy grail for many ppl.
  11. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: To clarify plain leaf kratom is not a part of this ban. Mitragynine might be fine. 7, psuedo,mgm15 and sr1708 are what are on the table to be banned most likely but hopefully just regulated.
  12. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z and yes , there are already indole alkoloids with tweaked scaffolding ready to take the place of 7/mgm, all with mitragynine as their parent alkoloid. The game of wack a mole starts the minute 7 is officially banned. Its 2013 K2 all over
  13. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan Also, it’s just a matter of time before another alternative pops up on the market anyway….
  14. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan I couldn’t agree more, bro. It’s fucked up. I recognize prices will rise, but it will always be available…. Stock up now while you can at least if you’re preferred read is opiates. As an ex-fentanyl addict I won’t ever touch any of that shit again. I remember when I started to see 7oh pop up, I knew it was going to end like this but I can understand getting rid of 7oh/mgm-15/16. With that being said, they should leave plain leaf alone!
  15. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z oh trust, i know that, im helping a pretty big vendor transition, to here and dnm , but prices are going to rise bc of risk. But availability is only part of this whole kratom alks situation. We have a serious problem with society. Last year alcohol killed 178,000 people, last year all other drugs combined killed 69,973 Out of those 38,084 were from opiate/opioids and out of those 0 were killed by 7oh. With these numbers we can see the problem with banning 7oh
  16. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Hell i remember when getting 25g of aphip was like 200$ or so
  17. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Dude wants $150 for 5g... I told him nahh doggy cmon.
  18. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Man im tryin to get this one kat to come off that apvp for 75$
  19. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Cant wait to get the apvp in
  20. token @ token: Afternoon everyone! Hope their day or night has been good!
