Vendors requiring explanation of your research

Hope this question is ok to be asking here.

What do you guys write? Ive been scared away from multiple vendors who require this. I don’t know the makes and models of typical research equipment, etc. 

 
Our organization intends to use these chemicals for in vitro laboratory diagnostic studies using microbial organism on petri culture.

P.s. in vitro= in glass, in vivo= in life (animal or human)

I would think any information is good they just need to l3g@lly be covered is all. Simply stating "I plan to use this R3s3@rch Ch3m1c@l to see how it effects the growth of a Tomato Plant I'm growing" lol even that will work.

 
Tell them you're doing reagent testing, or say you're doing gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (i.e, doing your own GC-MS test).

 
I just wrote laboratory in-vitro research purposes, measuring stability and reactivity, and they accepted it.
